Teachers, faculty and staff at US K-12 schools or Title IV colleges, aged 18 or over, get the same $199 price; it renews once, and they re-qualify every 12 months. The Military/Veterans (Leisure) rate is for military personnel, veterans, their dependents and members of some military-oriented associations who belong to Choice Privileges, while official government and military trips use a separate rate. How this page is made

Every entry comes from one of our store guides: the ways to save, rules, catches and answers that name military members and veterans, each with the store page it was read on and the date. When a guide changes, this page changes with it.

How we research a guide

Questions

In our guides, Ancestry, Apple, Bluehost, Choice Hotels, Hertz, Hilton, Hulu, IHG, Kohl's, Lowe's, lululemon, Microsoft Store, Office Depot, SiriusXM, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, Vistaprint and Wyndham have a way to save for military members and veterans, each described above in the store’s own words with the page it comes from.

Each store sets its own check, and its page says which. Among the stores on this page, the guides name ID.me (16 stores), SheerID (7 stores) and GovX (2 stores).

Their guides mention military members and veterans somewhere else: a rule, a catch, or a store saying it has no such discount. Those passages are quoted as they stand, so you can see exactly what each store says.

This page lists only what our store guides record from each store’s own pages. A store whose guide says nothing about military members and veterans isn’t listed, and nothing is filled in from news or code sites.
