SheerID checks eligibility, and the code you get by email works once. It can't be combined with other offers and doesn't cover shipping, taxes or packaging, so compare it with the sale discount on the mattress you want and use whichever is bigger.^{[10, 11, 12, 13]}

   Under its lowest price guarantee, Purple matches the price if you find the same Purple mattress advertised for less, counting shipping and other charges, or refunds the difference within 30 days of your purchase; tell them where you saw it by chat or phone. The mattress has to be available to ship when you ask (no rain checks), and clearance items, floor models, auction sites such as eBay and third-party sellers on Amazon or similar marketplaces don't count.^[1]

5. Pay with FSA or HSA money through Truemed

   Purple accepts FSA and HSA funds through Truemed: pick the HSA/FSA option at checkout and complete a short health assessment that a licensed provider reviews. Purple advertises an average saving of 30% from spending pre-tax money, but for a mattress only the extra cost of its health benefits over a standard mattress is eligible for reimbursement. Truemed doesn't charge you for the service at a partner store like Purple.^[20]

1. Returning a used mattress isn't free

   A $150–$350 Transportation Charge comes off the refund for a change-of-mind return. Purple waives it for delivery problems, warranty issues within 100 days and unopened mattresses.^{[3, 4]}

2. Bases and frames are final

   Adjustable bases, platforms, foundations and bed frames can't be returned or exchanged. Keep that in mind before using the email sign-up offer of 10% off an adjustable base with a select mattress.^{[1, 3]}

3. A new sale doesn't reach older orders

   Sale offers aren't valid on previous purchases or pending orders, and a mattress still in its trial can't be returned and bought again at the sale price.^[2]

4. Financing interest isn't refunded

   If you return a mattress you financed, Purple refunds the payments you made minus the interest that has built up.^{[14, 16]}

5. Bought somewhere else? Different rules

   Purple's sale doesn't apply at third-party stores such as Mattress Firm, and Amazon orders follow Amazon's return policy. The 10-year warranty doesn't cover floor models, demo units or mattresses from unauthorized resellers, liquidators or third-party websites.^{[2, 15, 18]}
