   Kohl's posts its public promo codes, each with an end date, on its own Kohl's Coupons page. On October 16, 2026 it showed GET20 for an extra 20% off (through October 18) and 10HOME, $10 off a $50 home purchase for Rewards members. Codes only work on coupon-eligible brands — such as Sonoma Goods For Life, Croft & Barrow and Tek Gear, plus the others on Kohl's list — and never on Sephora at Kohl's, gift cards, Kohl's Cares items or shipping.^{[1, 2, 3]}

   1. Open Kohl's Coupons from the Coupons and Savings link and note each code's end date.
   2. Check the item is coupon-eligible — product listings show the price with the current code.
   3. Enter the code in your cart, or show the coupon at the register in store.

2. Join Kohl's Rewards and identify yourself every time

   5% back as Kohl's CashLow effortUS residents 16 or older

   Kohl's Rewards is free and pays 5% of what you spend, or 7.5% when you pay with a linked Kohl's Card, counted after discounts and before shipping and tax; gift cards don't earn. On the first of each month your balance turns into $5 Kohl's Cash coupons that last 30 days. Anything under $5 carries over, but a balance that stays below $5 for more than 12 months expires. Members also get a birthday gift once they've made a purchase before their birthday month.^{[4, 5]}

   1. Join free on kohls.com, in the Kohl's App or in store.
   2. Sign in before you pay online, or give your phone number or email at the register.
   3. Spend each $5 coupon within 30 days of the 1st.

3. Save bigger buys for a Kohl's Cash event

   During earn events Kohl's gives $10 Kohl's Cash for every $50 spent in a single transaction — in October 2026, earned through October 18 and spendable only October 19–25. It's counted on the total after coupons and before tax, comes on top of Rewards, and up to six Kohl's Cash coupons can be used in one transaction alongside other coupons. Because it comes in $10 steps, a $95 basket earns the same $10 as a $50 one.^{[2, 5, 6, 7]}

   1. Look for the earn and redeem dates on the Kohl's Coupons page or homepage.
   2. Bring each transaction up to a multiple of $50 after coupons.
   3. Spend the Kohl's Cash inside its redeem window — it can't be used before or after.

4. Pick up in store instead of paying for shipping

   In-store pickup is free, and Free Ship to Store has no minimum on items that offer it — against $8.95 standard shipping on orders under $49. Through November 8, 2026, pickup orders of $49 or more earn $5 Kohl's Cash after you collect them, usable straight away (one per 72 hours). Collect Ship to Store orders within 7 days, or they're refunded and the items go back on the shelf.^{[1, 9, 10, 11, 12]}

5. Shop on senior or military discount days

   Kohl's takes 15% off qualifying purchases in stores on Wednesdays for customers 60 or older, and on Mondays for active military, veterans, retirees and their immediate family — bring a military ID, a state ID showing veteran status or a DD 214. Neither can be combined with another percent-off coupon such as a site-wide code, but Kohl's Cash is taken off first.^{[17, 18]}

6. Weigh up the Kohl's Card before you apply

   The Kohl's Card is a store credit card from Capital One, subject to approval. Paying with it lifts Rewards to 7.5%, unlocks cardholder codes — OCTOBER30 gives an extra 30% off through October 18, 2026 — stretches returns to 120 days, and after $600 of card spending in a calendar year brings MVC status with monthly free-shipping events. A new card comes with a 40% off coupon for one transaction within 30 days of credit becoming available, which can't be combined with other percent-off coupons.^{[1, 4, 8, 13]}

1. Returns can take back Kohl's Cash

   If a return drops a purchase below the amount that earned Kohl's Cash, unused Kohl's Cash is reduced or voided; if you've already spent it, your refund shrinks instead. Return $50 of a $100 order that earned $20, for example, and $10 comes off the refund.^[13]

2. Codes and Kohl's Cash skip Sephora at Kohl's

   Promo codes and Kohl's Cash can't be used on Sephora at Kohl's products, gift cards, Kohl's Cares items, shipping or taxes. Sephora purchases still earn Kohl's Rewards and Beauty Insider points, and 500 points take $10 off Sephora items.^{[2, 16]}

3. A code can push you under free shipping

   The $49 free-shipping minimum is measured after discounts, so a $55 cart with 20% off comes to $44 and pays $8.95 for standard shipping.^{[2, 10]}

4. Kohl's Cash only works in its own window

   It can't be used before or after the redemption dates printed on it, and those dates run on Central time. Kohl's Cash issued from Rewards expires 30 days after it's issued.^{[5, 6]}

5. No receipt means the lowest recent price

   If Kohl's can't look up the purchase, you get merchandise credit at the lowest discounted price of the past 13 weeks, and photo ID may be required. Bring the receipt, your Rewards details or the card you paid with.^[13]
