   L.L.Bean's Sale section sorts reduced items by category and keeps separate New to Sale and Daily Markdown groups. Its Two-A-Day Daily Markdown posts new deals every day at 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. ET. The free-shipping thresholds are measured on the order after promotions and discounts, so check the total once markdowns are applied.^{[3, 10, 11]}

3. Sign up for emails to get a one-time 10% code

   New subscribers receive a single-use 10% code by email, which L.L.Bean says arrives within 1–2 hours. It works on llbean.com, by phone and in retail stores, but not at L.L.Bean Outlets. A long list of outside brands is excluded, among them Yeti, Hydro Flask, Osprey and Garmin, and the code can't be combined with other percent-off or dollar-off discounts.^{[7, 8, 9]}

   The card has no annual fee and earns 5% in Bean Bucks at L.L.Bean (the card page notes it was previously 4%), 2% at restaurants and 1% elsewhere. Orders paid with it get free standard shipping with no minimum, free return shipping and free monogramming, which costs $10 on the Boat and Tote otherwise; free monogramming isn't a Rewards perk. L.L.Bean lists a purchase APR of 19.74%–30.74% as of September 22, 2026, and card Bean Bucks are forfeited if the card goes 24 months without a purchase. Applicants instantly approved by October 21, 2026 also get a one-time 25% off their llbean.com purchase, valid only during that visit and only when paid with the new card.^{[1, 16, 17, 18, 19]}

L.L.Bean sends its codes by email or after SheerID verification, and only one dollar- or percent-off promotion applies per order. We list a code only when L.L.Bean shows it publicly on llbean.com, with its end date.

1. A discount can drop you below free shipping

   The $75 and the $50 Rewards thresholds are measured after promotions and discounts, so a code can push an order under the line and add the $8 standard fee. Bean Bucks don't reduce the $50 Rewards total, because it's counted before they're applied.^{[3, 4]}

2. Percent-off codes skip many outside brands

   The email and SheerID codes exclude long lists of brands L.L.Bean sells, among them Yeti, Hydro Flask, Osprey, Garmin and Smartwool, plus gift cards, monogramming and shipping. Check the brand before counting on the 10%.^{[7, 12]}

3. Gift returns without a receipt get the latest price

   With a gift receipt, a returned gift brings merchandise credit for the original selling price. Without one, L.L.Bean takes it back only unused and unworn in its original packaging, and credits the last known selling price.^[6]

4. Rewards Bean Bucks expire all at once

   The whole Rewards Bean Bucks balance expires 270 days after the last time it grew, and L.L.Bean can close a membership with no eligible purchase in 36 months. Opting out of Rewards forfeits all points and Bean Bucks.^{[1, 2]}

5. There is no official L.L.Bean app

   L.L.Bean says it has no official app and lists its own websites and authorized resellers. It warns about copycat sites and social media ads that lead to fake shops with steep discounts.^[21]
