Mint Mobile Promo Codes, Coupons & Deals
Mint Mobile sells prepaid wireless in 3-, 6- and 12-month blocks paid upfront; its 12-month rates of $15 to $30 a month are its lowest regular prices. New customers start on an intro price, and referrals add $45 of renewal credit each, up to four a year.
Does Mint Mobile have promo codes?
Mint accepts coupon and discount codes only when you buy on mintmobile.com; its app doesn't take them. As of October 17, 2026, its offers, such as $60 for any 6-month plan for new customers, were already priced into the plans, with no code shown.[2, 14]

Our verdict
New customers should compare the $60 six-month offer that Mint's plans page showed on October 17, 2026 (any data size, Unlimited included) with the 3-month intro at 12-month prices. When that first plan ends, renew for 12 months at $15–$30 a month — a 3-month Unlimited renewal costs $40 a month — and share your referral link for $45 of renewal credit per friend.

Ways to save at Mint Mobile
Ordered by what each is typically worth to a regular shopper — the biggest saving first.
Renew for 12 months, not 3
Mint's 12-month prices — $15 (6GB), $20 (17GB), $25 (23GB) and $30 (Unlimited) a month, paid upfront as $180 to $360 — are listed on its broadband labels as regular rates, not introductory ones. Shorter renewals cost more per month: a 3-month Unlimited renewal is $40 a month and a 6-month one $35. Mint's own help page puts it simply: the more months you buy, the more you save.[1, 2, 4, 11]
- Before your plan ends, open My Plan in the Mint app or your account on mintmobile.com.
- Choose the 12-month length for the data size you need.
- Make the change at least a day before your renewal date, so Auto Renewal charges the new plan.
Start on the new-customer price
On October 17, 2026 Mint's plans page showed its 10-Year Anniversary offer: any 6-month plan, Unlimited included, for $60 upfront (equal to $10 a month), for new customers buying on mintmobile.com. Mint's help page says the offer began October 8, 2026 for a limited time, and it gives no end date. Mint also sells new customers a 3-month plan at the 12-month price ($45 to $90 upfront); after either one, you renew at regular prices.[1, 2, 3, 4]
Refer friends for renewal credit
When a friend buys and activates a new Mint line through your referral link, you get $45 in renewal credit and they get $15, both posted about 15 days after activation. You earn credit for up to four referrals per calendar year; it pays only toward plan renewals and can't be swapped for cash. Your friend has to buy on mintmobile.com, because the Mint app doesn't accept referral links.[6, 7, 14]
- Log in to your Mint account and open Refer a Friend to copy your link.
- Send it to someone switching to Mint; they must buy through it on mintmobile.com.
- Look for the credit about 15 days after they activate; it goes to your next renewal.
Read the broadband labels before you pick a data size
Mint shows an FCC broadband label for every plan, with its intro price, regular price and monthly fees. On the 3-month regular rates, 23GB costs $45 a month while Unlimited costs $40, and on 6-month renewals both cost $35. You can add data mid-cycle by paying the difference, but a smaller data plan only starts at renewal, so settle the size before you pay.[1, 12]
Buy a new phone together with a 12-month Unlimited plan
Mint's phone deals pair a device with a 12-month Unlimited plan for $180 upfront (equal to $15 a month). On October 17, 2026 its deals page showed $400 off the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE and $500 off the Google Pixel 11 this way, for new customers for a limited time, with up to 4 devices per order and no combining with other offers. An eligible unlocked trade-in can take more off, paid as a check from Allstate once it has inspected the old phone.[5, 17]

Mint Mobile coupon codes
Codes and offers kept by David Jones, who lists only codes the store makes public.
Mint Mobile accepts coupon and discount codes only when you buy on mintmobile.com, not in its app. Its offers on October 17, 2026 showed in the plan prices with no code needed; we list a code only when Mint publishes one on its own site, and never referral links.
No public code we could confirm right now
We would rather show nothing than a code that fails at checkout. The ways to save above work without one.

The rules that decide what you pay
What Mint Mobile says about money-back guarantee, cancellation and refunds after 7 days, renewals, plan changes, activation window and phone returns — the details that turn a good deal into a bad one, or the other way round.
Money-back guarantee
Seven days from activation to cancel a new plan for a full refund.
Mint refunds the full plan price, taxes and fees included, if you ask within seven calendar days of activation using the refund form on its returns page; shipping isn't refunded, and you don't have to send the SIM kit back. The policy covers purchases made directly from Mint (its FAQ names mintmobile.com and the Mint app); plans bought at retailers such as Target, Amazon, Costco or Best Buy follow that retailer's return policy.[8, 9]
Cancellation and refunds after 7 days
You can cancel at any time, but months already paid aren't refunded.
Mint's terms let you cancel a plan whenever you like, but outside its return policy and what the law requires, nothing you've paid comes back. Service can't be paused either: once a plan is activated it stays active for its billing cycle.[10, 16]
Renewals
Renew before the plan ends, or service stops.
Mint sends a text and an email 30 days before your renewal date, and Auto Renewal charges the card on file; changes and cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before. If a plan expires unpaid, the account is suspended, and after 60 days unpaid in suspension it is cancelled and your number may be reassigned.[10, 11]
Plan changes
More data at any time; less data or a new length only at renewal.
You can raise your data mid-cycle by paying the difference, but a plan's length can't change once it has started, and a smaller data size waits for the next plan. On the $60 six-month offer, moving to more data before the six months end means losing the promotional rate and paying the prorated difference to the new plan's standard price.[3, 12]
Activation window
Activate within 45 days of buying.
Every plan, promotional ones included, has to be activated within 45 days of purchase, or Mint may suspend or terminate it. That lets you buy an offer now and switch when your current contract ends; Mint's help page says its Care team can help if you need more time.[3, 10]
Phone returns
Seven days from delivery, in like-new condition.
A phone bought on mintmobile.com can go back within seven calendar days of delivery if it's complete in its original packaging, shows no signs of use, has under 25 minutes of talk time and isn't locked by a passcode; damage has to be reported within three business days. If Mint judges it not like-new, it can refuse the return or charge a restocking fee of $20, $40 or $70 depending on the phone's full retail price, and return shipping and shipping and handling fees are on you.[9]
5 catches in the fine print
Watch out for
Where shoppers lose the saving they thought they had.
Intro prices last one plan term
The 3-month intro rates and the $60 six-month offer cover the first plan only. Renew for another 3 months and Unlimited costs $40 a month and 6GB $25; a 12-month renewal keeps you at $15 to $30.[1, 2]
23GB can cost more than Unlimited
On Mint's broadband labels, the regular 3-month price for 23GB is $45 a month against $40 for Unlimited. Check the labels before renewing on a short plan.[1]
Referral credit is renewal-only and may not stack
Referral credits pay only toward plan renewals and can't be exchanged for cash. Mint's referral page also says they may not be combined with other offers, so don't count on a friend's $15 on top of a promotional plan.[6, 7]
Fees come on top of every price
Mint's Recovery Fee is a flat amount per plan plus 2.5% of the plan cost, and its labels add a Federal Universal Service Fund fee, other government fees and taxes that vary by location. For the 12-month Unlimited plan, the label lists a Recovery Fee of $2.10 a month.[1, 10, 13]
Phones from Mint stay locked for 60 days
A phone bought from Mint works only on Mint's network until it's unlocked, which Mint does automatically 60 days after activation if the phone meets its requirements. Bear that in mind before buying a bundled phone you might take to another carrier.[5, 15]
