Enterprise Rent-A-Car Promo Codes & Coupons

Enterprise's savings sit in a few fixed places: the offers on its All Deals & Coupons page, Enterprise Plus points that turn into free rental days with no blackout dates, a 5% leisure rate for military and government renters, and add-on fees you can decline.

Does Enterprise have promo codes or coupon codes?

Enterprise posts its public offers on its All Deals & Coupons page and says they're available only through the link there, in its emails or in its app. In October 2026 the featured US offer was up to 15% off the base rate on 3- to 27-day rentals picked up by December 15, 2026. Coupon codes issued to companies and organizations are only for their employees or members.[1, 2, 22]

Our verdict

Join Enterprise Plus for free and put your member number on every booking: each qualifying dollar earns a point, and points buy free rental days with no blackout dates. Then book through Enterprise's All Deals & Coupons page, which in October 2026 offered up to 15% off rentals of 3 to 27 days picked up by December 15, 2026. At the counter, list only the drivers you need: a spouse or domestic partner drives free, while any other added driver costs $15 a day.

Ways to save at Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Ordered by what each is typically worth to a regular shopper — the biggest saving first.

  1. Book the current offer from Enterprise's deals page

Up to 15% off the base rateLow effortRentals of 3–27 days picked up by Dec 15, 2026

In October 2026, Enterprise's US deals page featured up to 15% off the base rate on rentals of 3 days or more: 10% on economy, compact, midsize, standard and full-size cars and 15% on other classes, for pickups by December 15, 2026 and returns by December 29. Enterprise says the offer is available only through the link on its All Deals & Coupons page, in its emails or in its app; it needs a reservation at least 24 hours ahead, caps the rental at 27 days and can't be combined with another discount. Taxes, fees, fuel, extra drivers and optional products are charged in full.[1, 2]

    1. Open All Deals & Coupons on enterprise.com and choose the offer.
    2. Book through the offer's link at least 24 hours before pickup.
    3. Check the blackout table on the offer page for your city and dates.
  2. Join Enterprise Plus and spend points on free days

Free rental days, no blackout datesLow effortRenters aged 21 and over

Enterprise Plus is free for anyone 21 or older, and each qualifying dollar earns 1 point: the base rate, paid upgrades and add-ons after any discount, but not taxes, surcharges, airport fees or fuel. Points buy free rental days with no blackout dates, up to 7 on one rental, covering the base rate only. Enterprise's own pages quote different starting prices — 400 points on its redemption page, 600 in its FAQ, 700 on its earn-points page — and the real number depends on location, dates and car class.[4, 5, 6, 7, 8]

    1. Join free on enterprise.com or in the Enterprise app.
    2. Add your member number when you reserve, so the rental earns points.
    3. To redeem, sign in, start a reservation and choose to pay in points.
  3. Use the government leisure rate or your USAA benefits

5% off base rates, fees waivedSome effortFederal staff, service members, retirees, veterans, USAA members

For off-duty trips, current federal employees, active-duty members, retired employees and veterans get 5% off base rates, with no military association membership required; leisure bookings need a renter aged 21 or older, and military or government ID may be requested at pickup. USAA members get a discount off base retail rates at US locations plus extras: no underage fee for USAA-insurance-eligible members aged 21–24, no extra-driver fee for USAA spouses or family members, and primary liability coverage included. The USAA offer needs a booking 24 hours ahead and doesn't combine with other discounts.[17, 18]

  4. Trim the extras before you reach the counter

Skip $15-a-day driver fees and fuel markupsLow effortEveryone

A spouse or domestic partner who meets the same age and license rules drives at no extra charge; any other added driver costs $15 a day ($5 in New York) and must appear at the counter. Refuel before you return: at non-airport branches Enterprise bills its own local fuel rate, which it describes as typically above the pump price, and prepaid fuel at airports is sold only as a full tank with no refund. Damage Waiver and the other protection products are optional, so check what your auto insurer or card company covers before you accept them.[13, 14, 16]

  5. Rent from a neighborhood branch that picks you up

A free ride to your carSome effortRenters near a non-airport branch

Enterprise's non-airport branches offer free pick-up during business hours, handled by the first branch within 10 miles that's able to do it; confirm at least two hours ahead to guarantee the time. Enterprise also says its specials are often available at non-airport branches. These branches can't collect you from an airport, and they need the car back during opening hours unless they have an after-hours drop box.[3, 10, 21]

    1. Find the nearest non-airport branch and call it directly.
    2. Confirm your rental at least two hours before the pick-up time you want.
    3. Ask whether there's an after-hours drop box if you'll return late.

6 rules · enterprise.com, United States

The rules that decide what you pay

What Enterprise Rent-A-Car says about cancellation, prepaid bookings, early and late returns, deposits, points bookings and discount codes — the details that turn a good deal into a bad one, or the other way round.

Cancellation

No fee to cancel a booking you didn't prepay.

Unpaid reservations can be viewed, changed or cancelled online with the confirmation number and your first and last name. Changing the location, dates or times can change the rate, taxes, surcharges and underage fees, and a booking made on a third-party travel site has to be changed or cancelled on that site.[9]

Prepaid bookings

A $50 or $100 fee to cancel, $100 for a no-show.

On a prepaid US booking, Enterprise refunds what you paid minus $50 if you cancel more than 24 hours before pickup, or minus $100 if you cancel later; not collecting the car on the pickup date costs a $100 no-show fee. Enterprise's pay-only-for-the-days-you-used rule for early returns excludes prepaid reservations, and Enterprise Plus free days can't be redeemed on prepaid rentals booked on its website or app.[7, 9, 10]

Early and late returns

Pay only for the days you keep the car; a 29-minute grace period when late.

On a non-prepaid US rental you're charged only for the days you had the vehicle. Daily rentals generally get a 29-minute grace period, then hourly charges apply, and bringing the car back 2½ hours or more past the time it was rented adds a full day. A car dropped off after hours stays your responsibility until the branch checks it in the next business day.[10, 11]

Deposits

Refunded after the return, minus any extra charges.

Enterprise takes the rental cost plus a security deposit at pickup. A credit card hold is released when the car comes back; a debit card deposit is refunded to your account, which Enterprise says typically takes about 5 to 10 business days, and cash or check payers get a mailed check within 20 business days. Fuel replacement, damage or a late return can reduce the refund.[20]

Points bookings

Cancel before the pickup date and the points come back automatically.

Modifying a free-day reservation adds or deducts points as needed. If you don't pick the car up, or return it early, the points aren't refunded automatically: request a redeposit from your account within 6 months of the scheduled pickup date, or they're forfeited.[7]

Discount codes

One code per booking, and never after pickup.

Enterprise says typically only one discount or coupon code can be used at a time, and not every city takes part in specials. A forgotten discount can't be added once you're in the car; before pickup, Enterprise's reservation center at 1 (855) 266-9289 can check whether it can still go on. Coupons issued to a company or organization may only be used by that group's employees or members.[3, 22]

5 catches in the fine print

Watch out for

Where shoppers lose the saving they thought they had.

  1. One unpaid toll signs you up for TollPass

On Northeast toll roads, driving through a toll without paying it enrolls you in the TollPass Service: $4.95 for each day you incur a toll, up to $34.65 per rental, plus each toll at the highest of the video, cash or undiscounted rate, typically billed 4–6 weeks later. To avoid it, use your own E-ZPass (registering the rental's plate if your issuer requires it) or pay cash where lanes accept it.[15]

  2. The 15% offer has long blackout lists

Whole states and cities drop out of the offer on set dates: all of Arizona from October 2 to 26, 2026, all of Hawaii from November 4 to 14, and Port Canaveral, Florida, until December 15. Check the table on the offer page for your pickup city and dates before you count on the discount.[2]

  3. The young renter fee depends on the state

Enterprise rents from 21 in most of the US and puts the average young renter fee at about $25 a day, varying by location. In New York, drivers aged 18–20 pay $68.75 a day and 21–24 pay $33.25; in Michigan it's $34.00 and $15.50. Renters aged 21–24 may be limited to certain car classes.[12]

  4. Paying by debit card narrows your options

At airport locations a debit card is accepted at pickup only with a ticketed return itinerary, and on a debit-card rental the only additional driver allowed is your spouse or domestic partner. Credit card renters without a return ticket need enough available credit for the rental plus a deposit of $200 to $850.[13, 19]

  5. Free days still leave fees to pay

A free rental day covers the base rate only: taxes, surcharges, damage waiver, fuel, underage fees and extra hours stay on your bill. Points expire 36 months after your last qualifying rental or points-earning event.[4, 7]

Enterprise Rent-A-Car savings FAQ

Enterprise posts its public offers on its All Deals & Coupons page and says they're available only through the link there, in its emails or in its app. In October 2026 the featured US offer was up to 15% off the base rate on 3- to 27-day rentals picked up by December 15, 2026. Coupon codes issued to companies and organizations are only for their employees or members.[1, 2, 22]

Yes. Current federal employees, active-duty members, retired employees and veterans get 5% off base rates on leisure rentals at Enterprise locations worldwide, with no military association membership needed; ID may be requested at pickup. USAA members also get a member discount, plus no underage fee at 21–24 for USAA-insurance-eligible members.[17, 18]

No. Enterprise's US FAQ says it doesn't offer a discount for AAA membership and has no partnership with AARP. The promotions it names instead are its own specials, coupons through corporate partnerships, Enterprise Plus and email specials.[3]

If you didn't prepay, there's no cancellation fee. Prepaid US bookings are refunded minus $50 when cancelled more than 24 hours before pickup and minus $100 after that, and a no-show costs $100. Bookings made on a third-party travel site must be cancelled there.[9]

Outside Michigan and New York, Enterprise gives an average of about $25 a day, varying by location. Those two states let you rent from 18: Michigan charges $34.00 a day at 18–20 and $15.50 at 21–24, New York $68.75 and $33.25. Everywhere else the minimum age is 21.[12]

It depends on the location, dates and car class, and Enterprise's pages give different minimums: 400 points on its redemption page, 600 in its FAQ and 700 on its earn-points page. You see the exact price after signing in and choosing to redeem points while booking, and one rental can include up to 7 free days.[5, 6, 7, 8]

Yes, $15 a day per added driver in most of the US and $5 a day in New York, unless other contract terms apply. A spouse or domestic partner who meets the same age and license rules drives free. Every added driver has to come to the counter with a valid license.[13]

Enterprise lists weekend specials among its popular promotions, but not every city takes part, and its US deals page showed none on October 17, 2026. Most car classes rented over a weekend come with unlimited mileage; large and specialty vehicles don't.[1, 3, 23]

Six qualifying rentals in a calendar year bring Silver (10% bonus points, one upgrade certificate); 12 rentals or 40 rental days bring Gold (15%, two certificates); 24 rentals or 85 days bring Platinum (20%, four). Each certificate is a one-class upgrade up to a full-size car on a paid rental, subject to availability.[4, 7]
