2. Promo savings can come off a refund

   The Promotion Details read on landsend.com on October 17, 2026 said promotional savings may be deducted from returns, and the in-store return offer in the Return Policy carries a similar line. Read the terms before sending back part of a discounted order.^{[1, 6]}

3. Monogrammed gifts can't be sent back

   Personalized items — monogram, embroidery, engraving, laser imprints — are returnable only for a quality defect, and then new, unworn and in the original packaging within 90 days. Settle the size before you add a monogram.^[9]

4. School uniforms sit outside many offers

   The help center says school uniform items may be excluded from promotions, the email sign-up offer excludes School Uniform, and uniform pieces with a school logo return for Merchandise Credit only.^{[6, 10, 17]}

5. Portal returns have size and count limits

   The return portal takes no more than 19 items from one order at a time and issues one QR code per order. Anything over 20 inches on a side can't use box-free drop-off — only a mailing label or, within 20 miles of a store, a store return.^[7]
