Zara Promo Codes & How to Pay Less Without One

Zara doesn't do promo codes, so the savings sit elsewhere: marked-down items in its Special Prices section, free shipping to a store instead of $4.95 home delivery, free in-store returns instead of a $4.95 drop-off fee, and secondhand Zara on Pre-owned.

Does Zara have promo codes?

No. Zara's US help center says it doesn't have discount codes and suggests subscribing to its newsletter to hear about promotions. Reductions show up as lower prices instead, for example in the Special Prices section.[7, 8, 9]

Our verdict

Zara says it has no discount codes, so start in its Special Prices section, where Zara gathers its reduced items. Have your order shipped free to a Zara store rather than paying $4.95 for home delivery, and return in a store for free: drop-off returns cost $4.95, taken out of your refund.

Ways to save at Zara

Ordered by what each is typically worth to a regular shopper — the biggest saving first.

  1. Start in the Special Prices section

Reduced prices, no code neededLow effortEveryone

With no discount codes at Zara, reduced prices are where the money is. The Special Prices section gathers marked-down pieces, and on October 16, 2026 the women's page listed items 40% off their original price. Zara won't lower the price of something you've already bought if it's reduced later, so look here before paying full price.[6, 7, 9]

    1. Open Special Prices from the menu on zara.com/us.
    2. Use the filters to narrow it to your size and the pieces you need.
    3. Prices are the same in stores and online, so a reduced item costs the same wherever you find it.
  2. Ship to a Zara store instead of your home

Saves $4.95 per orderLow effortAnyone near a Zara store

Delivery to a Zara store is free and takes 3–5 working days, while home delivery costs $4.95 (2–4 working days) and next-day $19.95, or $25 to Alaska and Hawaii. You then have 15 days to collect the order with your Zara QR or the QR code on your e-receipt. Store delivery isn't offered for orders that include a large HOME item.[1, 15, 16]

    1. Use Check in-store availability on the item page if you'd rather buy it in a store today — store stock shown is only a guide.
    2. At checkout, choose shipment to a Zara store and pick one.
    3. Collect within 15 days by showing your Zara QR or e-receipt QR code.
  3. Return or exchange in a store, not at a drop-off point

Keeps the $4.95 return feeLow effortAnyone with a Zara store nearby

Returning in a Zara store is free, for online orders as well as store purchases; a return left at a carrier drop-off point costs $4.95 per return request, subtracted from your refund. Swapping for another size or color is free too, and in a store you don't need to request a return first — bring the item with your receipt or Zara QR.[2, 4]

  4. Sign up for Zara's newsletter or texts

Hear about promotions as they startLow effortRegular Zara shoppers

Zara's own answer to "can I use a discount code?" is no — it tells shoppers to subscribe to the newsletter to keep up with promotions instead. The newsletter is weekly, covers new collections and promotions, and lets you choose the sections you care about; there's also a text message sign-up, which you can stop by replying STOP.[7, 8]

  5. Buy secondhand on Zara Pre-owned

Used Zara, and you can make an offerSome effortShoppers happy with used items (not Alaska or Hawaii)

Zara Secondhand, under the Pre-owned menu, lets registered users buy Zara items from other customers and offer less than the asking price. On top of the price you pay $1 plus 5% of each item in transaction fees, plus shipping and sales tax, and purchases are final: you can only claim within 3 days of delivery if the item is lost, isn't as described or isn't Zara. Selling your own Zara pieces works the same way, and sellers get 100% of the sale price because the buyer pays the fees.[11, 12]

Zara's US help center says it doesn't have discount codes, so we don't list any. Reductions show up as lower prices on zara.com — look in the Special Prices section.

6 rules · zara.com, United States

The rules that decide what you pay

What Zara says about shipping, returns, return exceptions, refunds, price changes and cancellations — the details that turn a good deal into a bad one, or the other way round.

Shipping

Free to a Zara store; $4.95 for home delivery.

Store delivery takes 3–5 working days and home or delivery-point delivery 2–4 working days; next-day home delivery is $19.95 ($25 to Alaska and Hawaii). The options and charges depend on your address, when you order and item availability, and Zara shows them at checkout. Deliveries happen on business days only, and the shipping method can't be changed after you finish the order.[1]

Returns

30 days, free in a store, $4.95 at a drop-off point.

Online orders can be returned within 30 days of the shipment date, store purchases within 30 days of purchase, in original condition with all labels and in the US. Zara's terms say store returns of online orders go to a US Zara store (not Puerto Rico) that carries the item's section. Bring the receipt or your Zara QR to a store; drop-off returns don't need a receipt.[2, 14]

Return exceptions

Some items go back only sealed, some not at all.

Swimwear needs its hygiene strip, fragrances must be sealed and cosmetics unused and sealed; women's undergarments need their protective bag or sticker, and men's undergarments can't be returned. Personalized items, magazines and single items from a pack can't be returned either, and anything that came with special packaging or accessories must go back with them.[5]

Refunds

To your original payment, within 14 days of processing.

Returns sent through a carrier are processed within 72 hours of reaching Zara's facilities, and the money arrives within 14 days at most, depending on your bank. Purchases paid with a gift card are refunded to a gift card. Zara's terms say the cost of expedited shipping on the original order isn't refunded.[3, 14]

Price changes

No adjustment when a price drops later.

Zara may change prices during a season, and items cost the same in stores and online. It doesn't adjust the price of items you've bought if their original price is later reduced, and its terms say price adjustments aren't honored for marked-down merchandise.[6, 14]

Cancellations

Only while the order status still allows it.

If cancelling is still possible, the option shows in the order detail in your Zara account; guests use the link in the confirmation email. Items can't be removed or swapped once you've completed the purchase, and personalized items can't be cancelled at all.[13, 14]

5 catches in the fine print

Watch out for

Where shoppers lose the saving they thought they had.

  1. Next-day shipping isn't refunded

If you send an order back, Zara's terms say the cost of expedited shipping on the original order isn't refunded. Paying $19.95 for next-day delivery on something you may return is money you won't see again.[1, 14]

  2. Online exchanges start a 14-day clock

An online exchange sends the new size or color as a new order, and you have 14 days from the request to return the original. If Zara hasn't received it by then, you're charged for the new items. Online exchanges aren't offered for orders paid with PayPal, a gift card or Apple Pay, or with a gift receipt.[4]

  3. No receipt, no store return

Zara's terms say store purchases can't be returned without a receipt. Showing your Zara QR at the till links the receipt to your account, and you can scan a paper receipt into the app.[14, 15, 17]

  4. Frequent returns can be refused

Zara's terms let it refuse returns or close an account if it suspects excessive returns, fraud or other breaches of its terms.[14]

  5. A gift card is treated like cash

Zara won't replace a gift card that's lost, stolen or damaged, and a card only works in the market where it was bought.[10]
