Hulu Promo Codes, Bundles & Student Deal

Hulu's codes are gift cards and promotional codes with their own links, so the savings sit in its plans: Disney+ joins for 50 cents more in the bundle, students pay $6.49, a year upfront undercuts monthly billing, and a pause can last up to 12 weeks.

Does Hulu have promo codes?

Hulu takes gift card codes and promotional codes, which can need their own redemption link; enter them at Hulu.com/Gift or under Gift or Promotional Code on your Account page. The offers on hulu.com's sign-up page — the bundles, the student price, the Live TV first-month deal — are applied by choosing the plan, with no code to type.[7, 16, 17]

Our verdict

Paying $12.49 a month for Hulu (With Ads)? The Disney+, Hulu Bundle is $12.99, so Disney+ costs 50 cents more. Students get that bundle for $6.49, and if you'll keep the ad plan all year, $124.99 upfront is $24.89 less than twelve monthly bills — but an annual plan can't be paused or refunded.

Ways to save at Hulu

Ordered by what each is typically worth to a regular shopper — the biggest saving first.

  1. Take the Disney+, Hulu Bundle instead of Hulu alone

Disney+ for 50 cents more a monthLow effortAnyone paying for Hulu by the month

Hulu (With Ads) on its own is $12.49 a month, while the Disney+, Hulu Bundle is $12.99 with both services on ads. Without ads the gap is the same: Hulu Premium is $21.49 and the Disney+, Hulu Bundle Premium $21.99. Hulu's sign-up page prices the two services bought separately at $24.98 a month with ads and $42.98 without.[1, 7, 8]

    1. Open your Account page and select Manage Plan under Your Subscription.
    2. Pick the Disney+, Hulu Bundle you want and select Review Changes.
    3. If you're on a promotional Hulu price, check it first: moving to a bundle gives that price up.
  2. Students: get Disney+ and Hulu for $6.49

Half the regular bundle priceLow effortStudents at accredited US colleges, 18 or older

The Disney+, Hulu Student Bundle costs $6.49 a month against $12.99 for the regular ad-supported bundle. SheerID confirms your enrollment at sign-up, and you re-verify every year — if that fails, the plan moves to the full bundle price. There's no free trial, the price only applies to the ad-supported bundle, and it's limited to subscriptions billed directly by Disney+ or Hulu.[2, 3]

    1. Go to Hulu.com/student and select Claim Your Discount.
    2. Create an account, or log in if you already have Hulu.
    3. Verify your student status with SheerID, then add your billing details.
  3. Check whether your phone plan or Spotify already includes Hulu

Hulu (With Ads) through a plan you haveLow effortT-Mobile, Verizon and Spotify student customers

Eligible T-Mobile plans include Hulu (With Ads), added under Manage Data & Add Ons in your T-Mobile account, with Hulu Premium for an extra fee. Spotify Premium for Students comes with Hulu (With Ads) — select Activate Hulu on your Spotify account page. Eligible Verizon customers can sign up for a Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Select Bundle in My Verizon. These routes keep you on the plans the partner offers: no Live TV or add-ons through T-Mobile or Spotify, and no plan changes or add-ons through Verizon.[9, 10, 11]

  4. Pay for a year of Hulu (With Ads) upfront

$24.89 less than 12 monthly paymentsLow effortHulu-billed subscribers keeping the ad plan all year

Annual billing costs $124.99, compared with $149.88 for twelve months at the current $12.49 monthly price. It's offered only on Hulu (With Ads) and not to subscribers billed by a third party such as Roku or Disney+. Once you've been charged, you can't move to a monthly plan or pause, and cancelling brings no refund — you keep access until the year runs out.[1, 12]

  5. Service members and veterans: claim 25% off through The Exchange

25% off Hulu (With Ads) every monthLow effortUS service members, veterans and dependents with an Exchange membership

Hulu takes 25% off the monthly Hulu (With Ads) price for eligible service members, veterans and their dependents who sign up through The Exchange. You need a current Exchange membership and must be billed directly by Hulu. The discount can't be combined with other promotional pricing, comes without a free trial, and stops applying if you switch to Hulu Premium, a bundle or a Live TV plan.[4]

    1. Go to The Exchange website, select Shop Now and sign in.
    2. Select Authenticate Now to be taken to Hulu.
    3. Create your Hulu login and add a payment method.
  6. Pause between shows instead of paying for idle months

Up to 12 weeks on holdLow effortMonthly subscribers billed by Hulu, Amazon or Roku

From the Account page you can pause for up to 12 weeks. The pause begins on the first day of your next billing cycle, and the subscription restarts and bills your card automatically when it ends. If you decide to cancel while paused, you aren't charged.[13]

    1. On your Account page, find Your Subscription.
    2. Select Pause and choose a length of up to 12 weeks.
    3. Select Submit; use Restart Subscription to end the pause early.

Hulu promo codes

Codes and offers kept by David Jones, who lists only codes the store makes public.

Hulu's codes are gift card codes and promotional codes that come with their own redemption link; the deals on its sign-up page apply when you pick the plan, with no code to enter. We list only offers Hulu shows publicly on hulu.com.

No public code we could confirm right now

We would rather show nothing than a code that fails at checkout. The ways to save above work without one.

6 rules · hulu.com, United States

The rules that decide what you pay

What Hulu says about cancellation, refunds, free trials, pausing, price changes and gift cards and codes — the details that turn a good deal into a bad one, or the other way round.

Cancellation

Cancel any time; you keep access until the paid period ends.

Subscribers billed by Hulu cancel from the Account page: select Cancel under Your Subscription, then Continue to Cancel past the pause offer. Hulu charges no cancellation fee, and after cancelling you aren't billed again. If you pay through Amazon, Apple, Google, Roku, a phone carrier or another partner, the steps go through that company.[1, 14]

Refunds

Cancelling stops future charges; it doesn't refund the current period.

Hulu's cancellation process leaves you with access until your billing cycle ends instead of returning money. Its offer terms on hulu.com state no refunds or credits for partial months, and an annual plan isn't refunded when you cancel it.[2, 7, 12, 14]

Free trials

On select plans, including the Hulu + Live TV, Disney+ and ESPN plan.

Trials are for new subscribers and for returning ones who haven't had Hulu in the past 12 months; your trial's end date appears on the Account page. If you don't cancel before it ends, you're charged the plan's monthly price and the subscription keeps renewing. Cancelling a Hulu + Live TV trial cuts off access immediately.[5, 14]

Pausing

Up to 12 weeks, starting from your next billing date.

Pausing isn't available on annual plans, for accounts on hold, for subscribers paying with gift cards or on a promotion, or when a third party other than Amazon or Roku bills you. Ending a pause early charges your payment method straight away, and streaming resumes once the payment goes through.[13]

Price changes

New prices since September 23, 2026; existing plans from October 21.

The prices in this guide apply to new subscriptions from September 23, 2026. If you signed up earlier, the new price shows up in a billing cycle on or after October 21, 2026. When a promotion ends, your monthly total switches to standard pricing, and where local rules require it, tax is added based on your billing address.[1, 15]

Gift cards and codes

Redeem at Hulu.com/Gift or on your Account page.

A gift-card-only account cancels itself once the balance is used up unless you add another payment method, and Premium add-ons need a US credit or debit card. Subscribers billed by a third party other than Amazon or Roku can't apply gift cards. Promotional codes can require a specific redemption link and may be limited to new subscribers or certain plans.[16, 17]

5 catches in the fine print

Watch out for

Where shoppers lose the saving they thought they had.

  1. A bundle switch costs you a promotional price

If you're on Hulu at a promotional rate, moving to a bundle means giving that rate up. And when any promotion ends, your bill moves to the standard price.[8, 15]

  2. An annual plan is a one-way door

After the annual charge you can't move back to monthly billing or pause, and cancelling doesn't refund the rest of the year. Add-ons on top stay monthly.[12]

  3. The student price needs re-verifying every year

After 12 months you're asked to confirm your enrollment again; if it isn't confirmed, the plan rolls to the full $12.99 bundle. Leave the older Hulu Student Discount and you can't switch back to it.[2, 3]

  4. Paying through a partner narrows your options

Third-party billing rules out annual plans, and apart from Amazon and Roku it also rules out pausing and gift cards. Hulu notes that some plan options may be missing if Apple, Google or Amazon bills you.[12, 13, 16, 18]

  5. A trial turns into a charge on its own

When a free trial ends you're billed automatically, and changing plans during a trial can also trigger a charge. Check the end date on your Account page and cancel before it if you don't want to stay.[5]

Hulu takes gift card codes and promotional codes, which can need their own redemption link; enter them at Hulu.com/Gift or under Gift or Promotional Code on your Account page. Yes: the Disney+, Hulu Student Bundle is $6.49 a month, half the regular $12.99 price, for students at accredited US colleges and other post-secondary schools. You verify through SheerID at Hulu.com/student and again every year.[2, 3]

Yes. Service members, veterans and their dependents with a current Exchange membership get 25% off the monthly Hulu (With Ads) price by signing up through The Exchange. It only applies to that plan and can't be combined with other promotional pricing.[4]

On select plans: Hulu's help centre lists the Hulu + Live TV, Disney+ and ESPN plan, for new subscribers and those who haven't had Hulu in the past 12 months. The student bundle and the military discount come without a trial.[3, 4, 5]

For new subscribers since September 23, 2026: Hulu (With Ads) is $12.49 a month or $124.99 a year, and Hulu Premium (No Ads) is $21.49 a month. The Disney+, Hulu Bundle is $12.99, or $21.99 without ads.[1]

On Hulu's own prices, the bundle costs 50 cents a month more than Hulu alone — $12.99 against $12.49 with ads, $21.99 against $21.49 without. The Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max Bundle starts at $21.99 with ads.[1]

Monthly subscribers billed by Hulu, Amazon or Roku can pause for up to 12 weeks from the Account page; the pause starts at the next billing cycle. It isn't offered on annual plans, gift-card accounts or promotional pricing.[13]

Cancelling ends future charges but you keep access to the end of the period already paid, and Hulu's offer terms rule out refunds or credits for partial months. Cancelling an annual plan brings no refund either.[2, 12, 14]

With the Extra Member add-on: one person aged 18 or over, in the same country and without their own Hulu, Disney+ or ESPN subscription. It costs $6.99 a month on Hulu (With Ads) and $9.99 on Hulu Premium, and isn't available with Live TV plans.[1, 6]
