lululemon Promo Codes, Trade-Ins & Perks

lululemon's savings aren't in a code box. They're in the free membership that lets you exchange sale items, the 15% military and first responder discount, Like New trade-in credit and an Amex Platinum credit.

Does lululemon have promo codes?

lululemon's own discounts don't rely on a code you type. Offers it emails are applied through the link in that email — its help centre says they aren't a promo code you enter manually — and the military, first responder and Sweat Collective discounts appear as a toggle at checkout once you're verified. Program discounts can't be combined with other promo codes.[7, 9, 17, 18]

Our verdict

Join lululemon's free membership before you buy from We Made Too Much — sale items are otherwise final, but members can exchange them or return them for a gift card in store. If you serve or served in the military or work as a first responder, verify once for 15% off, and trade in outgrown gear at a US store for $5 or $10 per item in e-gift cards.

Ways to save at lululemon

Ordered by what each is typically worth to a regular shopper — the biggest saving first.

  1. Join the free membership before you buy on sale

Sale items you can exchange or returnLow effortUS residents 18 or older

lululemon Membership is free and needs only a name and email address. The benefit that saves money: We Made Too Much items are final sale for everyone else, but members can exchange sale items or return them for a lululemon gift card, in store only. Members also get free hemming at their local store and receipt-free returns on purchases linked to their account.[1, 2, 3, 4]

    1. Create a free lululemon account online, in the app or in store and accept the membership terms.
    2. Sign in before you check out, or give your account details at the till, so the purchase is linked to you.
    3. To return a sale item, take it to a lululemon store — not an outlet — within the return window.
  2. Verify once for the military and first responder 15%

15% off, online and in storeSome effortMilitary, veterans and first responders in the US

Active, reservist, veteran and retired military personnel qualify, as do spouses and dependents of active personnel from the same household (each verifies separately), plus firefighters, law enforcement, search and rescue, EMTs, medical doctors and licensed nurses. Verification runs through SheerID; after that the 15% off is a toggle at checkout online, and in store an educator applies it when you show valid ID. There's no limit on how often you use it, and your status lasts four years before you verify again.[7, 8, 9]

    1. Open lululemon's Military and First Responder page and select Get Verified.
    2. Sign in or create a lululemon account and complete the SheerID check — extra documents may be needed.
    3. Make sure the 15% off toggle is on at checkout, or bring ID to a store.
  3. Enroll your Amex Platinum card in its lululemon credit

Up to $75 back a quarterLow effortUS American Express Platinum Card Members

American Express Platinum Card Members in the US can enroll for up to $75 in statement credits each quarter — up to $300 a calendar year — on eligible lululemon purchases charged to the card. It covers lululemon's US stores, shop.lululemon.com and the app, but not outlets, warehouse or event locations, Like New, gift cards or orders shipped outside the US. The Basic Card Member has to enroll first, in their American Express account or app, and a credit can take up to 8 weeks to post.[10]

  4. Trade in outgrown lululemon gear for credit

$5–$10 per item, or 15% of retail by mailSome effortUS shoppers with gently used lululemon clothing or bags

At lululemon stores in the US (not outlets), a Like New trade-in earns $5 per item for shorts, skirts and men's shirts and $10 for hoodies, sweaters, pants, leggings, dresses and large bags, as an e-gift card on the spot that doesn't expire. Trade in by mail instead and you get 15% of the original retail price in credit, minus a $7.50 shipping fee. Or list the item yourself on Like New and keep 90% of the sale price as credit or 70% as cash.[11, 12, 13]

    1. Make sure each item is clean and in great condition.
    2. Take it to a lululemon store in the US — outlets don't accept trade-ins.
    3. Spend the e-gift card on lululemon.com or in store.
  5. Buy gently used gear on lululemon Like New

Used gear, free US shipping from $125Low effortShoppers who don't need it new

lululemon Like New resells used lululemon gear: items sold by lululemon itself carry a "lululemon Like New" label, while others come from individual sellers. In the US, shipping is free on orders of $125 or more and $7.50 below that. Check who the seller is before you buy — items from individual sellers are final sale, while most other items can be returned online within 14 days of delivery, with $7.50 taken off the refund for return shipping.[2, 14, 15]

  6. Fitness professionals: apply to Sweat Collective

25% off full-price gearHigh effortInstructors, trainers, gym owners, coaches, athletes

Sweat Collective gives 25% off full-priced lululemon gear bought for yourself, online, in store and in the app in North America. Group fitness instructors, personal trainers, studio and gym owners or managers, eligible athletes, coaches and team staff can apply, uploading government ID and proof of their current role. The discount doesn't work with other promo codes, and items bought with it can't be gifted or resold.[17]

lululemon promo codes

Codes and offers kept by David Jones, who keeps this guide's deals current.

lululemon's discounts are personal: emailed offers apply through the email's own link, and program discounts show up as a toggle at checkout once you're verified. We don't list them here — this guide covers the programs you can join instead.

We don't list lululemon codes

lululemon's codes are personal, and its rules don't allow sites like ours to publish them — so this guide sticks to the savings above, which work without one.

6 rules · shop.lululemon.com, United States

The rules that decide what you pay

What lululemon says about shipping, returns, final sale, refunds, holiday returns and order changes — the details that turn a good deal into a bad one, or the other way round.

Shipping

Standard shipping is free; express costs $20 and priority $30.

Standard delivery takes 2–6 business days, express 2–4 and priority 2–3, processing included; orders ship within 1–2 business days of being placed, and the date shown at checkout is an estimate. If you return an order, expedited shipping fees aren't refunded.[2, 6]

Returns

30 days, unworn and unwashed with hang tags attached.

The 30 days run from the delivery date for online orders and the purchase date in store. Online orders can go back by mail or to a store, but outlets don't process returns, exchanges happen only in stores, and items must be returned in the country where you bought them. Shoes can be worn but must come back in their box, and every return needs proof of purchase.[3, 5]

Final sale

We Made Too Much, gift cards and customized items can't be returned.

Members are the exception for sale items: they can exchange them or return them for a gift card, in store only, if the items were bought on their own account (or came with a gift receipt) after they joined. Items from special or one-time promotions, outlets and online warehouse sales are excluded even then. Swimwear can only be returned unworn with its hygienic liner intact.[2, 3, 4]

Refunds

Back to your card once the warehouse processes the return.

Processing at the warehouse takes 3–5 business days, then the refund shows on your statement within 3–10 business days. Refunds go to the original card or a lululemon gift card, and if lululemon agrees to a refund after 30 days, it's issued on a gift card.[3, 19]

Holiday returns

Bought between Oct 13 and Dec 24? You have until Jan 23.

lululemon's holiday return window covers purchases made from October 13 to December 24, which can be returned or exchanged until January 23. The usual conditions still apply: unworn, unwashed, tags attached and proof of purchase.[3]

Order changes

You have 50 minutes to cancel.

Members can cancel all or part of an order from their Purchase History with the Modify Order button; without an account, you have to call or use Live Chat within the same 50 minutes. After that, the only option is to return the items once they arrive, and gift cards can't be cancelled.[21]

5 catches in the fine print

Watch out for

Where shoppers lose the saving they thought they had.

  1. Joining later doesn't unlock sale returns

Everything from We Made Too Much is final sale. The member benefit only covers sale items bought on your own account (or received with a gift receipt) after you joined, and they can only be exchanged or returned for a gift card in store.[2, 4]

  2. Return labels expire after 14 days

Once you start an online return, you have 14 days to take the parcel to the post office before the label expires; after that you need to contact lululemon for a new one.[20]

  3. Program discounts don't stack

The military and first responder 15% can't be combined with other offers, promo codes or coupons, and doesn't apply to Like New, gift cards or phone orders. Sweat Collective doesn't work with other promo codes either, and Like New trade-in e-gift cards can't be used together with these discounts.[9, 13, 17]

  4. Expedited shipping isn't refunded

lululemon's Terms of Sale keep delivery fees and any expedited shipping you paid for out of refunds. If you might send something back, standard shipping costs nothing anyway.[2, 6]

  5. Like New buys from individual sellers are final

There are no returns, exchanges or refunds on them, even for fit. If an item isn't as described, report it within three days of delivery. Military, first responder and Sweat Collective discounts don't apply on Like New.[2, 14, 16]

Yes — 15% off online and in store for active, reservist, veteran and retired military personnel and the spouses and dependents of active personnel in the same household. First responders qualify too: firefighters, law enforcement, search and rescue, EMTs, medical doctors and licensed nurses. You verify through SheerID, and the status lasts four years.[7, 8]

lululemon's Programs and Discounts help section doesn't list one. Its discount programs are the 15% for military and first responders, 25% for fitness professionals in Sweat Collective, and the free membership.[7, 17, 22]

Only if you're a member. We Made Too Much items are final sale, but members can exchange them or return them for a lululemon gift card in store, as long as the items were bought on their own account (or came with a gift receipt) after they joined.[2, 4]

In US stores, $5 per item for shorts, skirts and men's shirts and $10 for hoodies, sweaters, pants, leggings, dresses and large bags, paid as an e-gift card. Mail-in trade-ins earn 15% of the original retail price in credit, minus a $7.50 shipping fee.[11, 13]

Yes. The first level, Collective, is free; spending $500 in a calendar year moves you up to Collective Plus and $1,000 to Collective Pinnacle, which add perks such as a personal shopper and first access to restocks. Gift cards, taxes and shipping don't count towards that spend.[1]
