Marriott Promo Codes & Bonvoy Discounts

Marriott's own offer pages list promotional codes, each tied to one rate and one set of dates. Everything else rests on booking direct as a free Bonvoy member: the Member Rate, 10 points per $1 at most brands, and a rate guarantee that adds 25% off.

Does Marriott have promo codes?

Yes. Marriott's stay offers at marriott.com/offers show a promotional code — for example LTS for stays of 5+ nights, bookable until June 26, 2027 — which you type into the Corporate/Promotional code box. A code covers one promotion and can't be combined with another.[5, 7]

Our verdict

Sign up for Marriott Bonvoy (it's free) and book on marriott.com or the app: the Member Rate is at least 2% off on weekdays and up to 5% on weekends, and a room reserved through Expedia or Booking.com earns no points at all. Then look for a promotional code on Marriott's Offers page that suits the trip, such as LTS for 5+ nights (book by June 26, 2027), and if the identical room shows up cheaper on another site within 24 hours, the Best Rate Guarantee matches it plus 25% off the room (or 5,000 points).

Ways to save at Marriott

Ordered by what each is typically worth to a regular shopper — the biggest saving first.

  1. Book on marriott.com as a Bonvoy member

Member Rate, free Wi-Fi, 10 points per $1Low effortAnyone booking a Marriott hotel

Joining Marriott Bonvoy costs nothing, and members who book through Marriott's own channels — its websites, the app or its reservation lines — get the Member Rate: at least 2% off on weekdays and up to 5% on weekends, taken off the hotel's lowest public rate for standard rooms. Booking on Marriott's websites or app also brings free in-room Wi-Fi, and qualifying spend earns 10 points per $1 at most brands. Rooms reserved through Expedia, Priceline, Booking.com or other third parties earn no points and no elite benefits. If you join after a stay, Marriott still credits points for one completed up to 30 days before you enrolled, as long as you send the paid receipt within a year.[1, 2, 3, 4, 17]

    1. Join free on marriott.com or in the Marriott Bonvoy app.
    2. Sign in before you search, so the Member Rate is shown.
    3. Book with Marriott directly, not on a third-party travel site.
  2. Take a promotional code from the Offers page

Long-stay, suite, breakfast and prepaid ratesLow effortTravelers whose dates fit an offer

Stay offers at marriott.com/offers name their promotional code, which you enter in the Corporate/Promotional code box or quote on the phone. On October 17, 2026 the offers valid at US hotels included LTS for stays of 5+ consecutive nights (book by June 26, 2027), E0030 for premium rooms and suites on stays of 2+ nights (book by June 29, 2027), S4B, a Courtyard rate with breakfast (book by June 30, 2027), and ADP, a prepaid rate for planning ahead (book by June 30, 2027). None of them combines with another promotion or works for groups of 10 or more rooms, and the pages don't promise a fixed percentage — so price the code against your Member Rate before booking.[5, 6, 7, 8, 20]

    1. Open marriott.com/offers and choose an offer that matches your dates and destination.
    2. Copy the Promotional Code from the offer's Need to know box.
    3. Search with it in the Corporate/Promotional code field and compare the result with the Member Rate.
  3. File a Best Rate Guarantee claim within 24 hours

The lower rate plus 25% off, or 5,000 pointsSome effortMembers who booked with Marriott directly

If, within 24 hours of booking and at least 24 hours before check-in, a non-Marriott site shows the same hotel, room, bed type, guest count, dates, inclusions and cancellation policy for more than 1% less, Marriott matches that rate and adds an extra 25% off the room (20% at Design Hotels) or 5,000 points — your choice, fixed once you file. You need to be a member and to have booked the lowest public rate Marriott showed for that room, Member Rate included. Rates behind paid memberships such as AAA, opaque sites like Priceline and Hotwire, packages and rates using another site's coupons or cashback don't qualify.[1]

    1. Book the lowest public rate on marriott.com while signed in to Bonvoy.
    2. Check the identical room and cancellation terms on other sites within 24 hours.
    3. Sign in on Marriott's Best Rate Guarantee page and submit the claim; Marriott checks the other site itself, so a screenshot alone isn't proof.
  4. Switch the rate menu to AAA/CAA, Senior or Government

Negotiated rates for those who qualifyLow effortAAA/CAA members, guests 62+, military and government travelers

The Lowest Regular Rate menu on marriott.com (Special Rates in the app) lists AAA/CAA, Senior Discount and Government & Military. The senior rate is open to guests 62 or older with no AARP card needed; AAA/CAA rates ask for your 16-digit member number and allow two rooms per membership per night; government and military rates need valid ID at check-in. Marriott's Member Rate doesn't apply on top of any of these, so compare them side by side.[1, 9, 10, 11]

  5. Book award stays in blocks of five nights

The 5th award night freeSome effortMembers spending points

Redeem points for five consecutive nights on one reservation — with a Standard Redemption or PointSavers award — and the lowest-priced night costs no points; a 10-night stay gets two such nights free. The benefit doesn't apply to Cash + Points, Free Night Awards or a string of separate back-to-back bookings. Points prices change with the hotel, room type, length of stay and season; if your dates are open, try the Flexible Dates option in the search, which Marriott says finds the best points deals.[4, 14, 15]

Codes and offers kept by David Jones, who lists only codes the store makes public.

Marriott shows a promotional code on its stay offers at marriott.com/offers; it goes in the Corporate/Promotional code box and can't be combined with other promotions. We list only those public codes, with their book-by dates — corporate codes and AAA, senior or government rates need proof of eligibility, so we don't list them as codes.

6 rules · marriott.com, United States

The rules that decide what you pay

What Marriott says about cancellation, prepaid rates, points bookings and refunds, third-party bookings, Member Rate and points expiry — the details that turn a good deal into a bad one, or the other way round.

Cancellation

Set by each hotel and rate, with deadlines in the hotel's local time.

The deadline appears under Rate Details before you book, in My Trips afterwards and near the bottom of the confirmation email. Cancel after it and the hotel may charge a fee — Marriott says it's typically one night's room and tax. Changing dates or room type can bring a new rate and a new cancellation policy.[12]

Prepaid rates

Paying up front for Planning Ahead Pays Off means no refunds or changes.

Marriott's Planning Ahead Pays Off rate (code ADP, book by June 30, 2027) is prepaid, non-refundable and non-changeable. For any rate, read Rate Details for non-refundable deposits or prepayment before you confirm.[6, 12]

Points bookings and refunds

Points return if you cancel inside the hotel's deadline.

Award stays follow the hotel's usual rules on late cancellation, no-shows and early departure. Cancel within the policy window and the points or awards go straight back to your account; leaving early can bring a points refund only if you tell the front desk in advance.[4, 13]

Third-party bookings

Changes and refunds go through the site you booked on.

For a room booked through an online travel agency, Marriott sends you back to that company for the cancellation policy, and a missing Cancel button on marriott.com can mean the booking came from a site like Expedia. These stays also earn no points or elite benefits.[4, 12, 13]

Member Rate

For members booking through Marriott, on standard rooms.

It isn't valid for existing reservations or groups of 10+ rooms and may not be combined with select promotions. It doesn't apply to government, negotiated, AAA or senior rates, and it isn't offered at the Atlantis hotels on Paradise Island or at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.[1]

Points expiry

Points stay alive with any qualifying activity every 24 months.

Earning or redeeming points, buying points or completing a qualifying stay counts; gifting points to, or receiving them from, another member doesn't. After 24 months without qualifying activity, every point and award in the account is forfeited for good.[4]

5 catches in the fine print

Watch out for

Where shoppers lose the saving they thought they had.

  1. Award nights don't cover resort fees

A points stay pays for the room, room tax and service charge, but resort fees and other charges are yours (all-inclusive resorts are the exception). Before confirming, open the Summary of Charges on the review screen, which itemizes taxes and resort charges.[4, 19]

  2. Fees earn no points

Marriott's help centre lists taxes, service charges, resort or destination fees, parking, tips and outlets the hotel doesn't run among the charges that typically earn no points.[16]

  3. A Free Night Award can leave points on the table

Use an award worth more than the night's points price and the difference is lost, not refunded. You can add up to 25,000 points to stretch an award to a pricier night, and each award expires on the date shown in your account.[4, 15]

  4. Checking out early can cancel the saving

On the Save on 5+ Nights offer (code LTS, book by June 26, 2027) an early checkout reverses the discount, and Stay for 5, Pay for 4 refunds nothing for nights you don't use.[7, 14]

  5. Corporate codes need proof

A company's corporate code is for its employees only, not their families. You may have to show proof of eligibility at check-in, or confirm a work email address when you book online.[18]

Marriott savings FAQ

Yes. Marriott's stay offers at marriott.com/offers show a promotional code — for example LTS for stays of 5+ nights, bookable until June 26, 2027 — which you type into the Corporate/Promotional code box. A code covers one promotion and can't be combined with another.[5, 7]

Joining is free. Members booking through Marriott's own channels get the Member Rate — at least 2% off on weekdays and up to 5% on weekends — plus free in-room Wi-Fi when they book on Marriott's websites or app.[1, 2]

Yes. Choose Government & Military in the Lowest Regular Rate menu, or enter the code GOV. Active-duty military, reservists and eligible government staff qualify with valid ID at check-in; check Rate Details, because eligibility varies by hotel.[11]

Yes, for guests 62 or older at participating hotels, with no AARP membership needed. The room must be booked in the senior's name (up to two rooms a night), proof of age is checked at check-in, and the rate depends on availability.[10]

Marriott has AAA/CAA rates at participating hotels: select AAA/CAA when you search and enter your 16-digit member number. The cardholder has to stay in one of the rooms and show the card at check-in, with a limit of two rooms per membership per night.[9]

Through its Best Rate Guarantee. If you're a member, booked direct and find the identical room for more than 1% less on another site within 24 hours, Marriott matches it and adds 25% off the room or 5,000 points.[1]

It depends on the hotel and the rate you booked; the deadline in Rate Details uses the hotel's local time. A late cancellation may cost a fee that Marriott says is typically one night's room and tax, and prepaid rates such as Planning Ahead Pays Off can't be refunded.[6, 12]

Only if the account has no qualifying activity for 24 months — then all points and awards are forfeited. Earning, redeeming or buying points counts as activity; gifting or receiving points doesn't.[4]

Book five consecutive nights with points on a single reservation and the night with the lowest points price is free. It doesn't apply to Cash + Points, Free Night Awards or separate reservations, and unused nights aren't refunded.[14]
