Bluehost Coupon Codes, Promo Codes & Deals

Bluehost's low hosting prices are first-term rates, paid upfront for 12 or 36 months, and each plan renews at a higher regular rate. The savings lie in the term you pick, the free first-year domain and Buy More, Save More, which runs through November 30, 2026.

Does Bluehost have promo codes?

Bluehost's own coupon page says most of its discounts apply automatically and that you should use a coupon code only if one has been provided to you; only one coupon or promotion applies at a time. From October 1 to November 30, 2026, its Buy More, Save More sale takes 15% to 25% off eligible 12-month purchases automatically at checkout.[1, 10]

Our verdict

Compare the 12- and 36-month prices before paying, because the whole term is billed at sign-up: on October 17, 2026 Starter was $3.99/mo for 36 months (renewing at $9.99) or $4.24/mo for 12 months (renewing at $11.99). Through November 30, 2026, Buy More, Save More takes 15% off one eligible 12-month product, rising to 25% off three or more, and the 30-day money-back guarantee covers hosting paid by credit card only.

Ways to save at Bluehost

Ordered by what each is typically worth to a regular shopper — the biggest saving first.

  1. Choose the term with the renewal price in mind

Starter at $3.99/mo on 36 monthsLow effortNew shared hosting customers

Bluehost charges the whole term at sign-up, so the monthly figure is a rate, not a bill: on October 17, 2026 the pricing page listed Starter at $3.99/mo for 36 months or $4.24/mo for 12, and Business at $6.99/mo for 36 months or $6.79/mo for 12. The term also sets your renewal, because a plan renews for the same length as its first term — Starter's regular rate is $9.99/mo on 36 months, $11.99 on 12 and $15.99 month to month. Thirty-six months of Starter at $3.99 comes to $143.64 before taxes, paid on day one.[1, 2, 5]

    1. Open bluehost.com/pricing and switch between 12 Months and 36 Months.
    2. Compare each plan's first-term price with its Renews at price.
    3. Check the total in the cart, since the full term is charged at once.
  2. Buy during Buy More, Save More

15% off one product, up to 25% off threeLow effortNew purchases on 12-month terms, until November 30, 2026

From October 1 to November 30, 2026 (11:59 p.m. ET), Bluehost takes 15% off one eligible product, 20% off two and 25% off three or more bought in the same order, applied automatically at checkout. It covers the first 12-month term only, billed upfront; eligible products include Shared and Advanced hosting and Bluehost's website builder, online store, receptionist and All-Access Pack subscriptions. It can't be combined with other offers, and the pricing page says the cart shows the full details.[1]

  3. Students, graduates, military and healthcare workers: verify first

$2.09/mo for 36 months (October 17, 2026)Some effortStudents, graduates, military and healthcare workers

The Student Discount link in Bluehost's footer opens a Student Beans page with student, graduate, military and healthcare discounts. On October 17, 2026 the student and military offers both showed a 1 Site Plan at $2.09/mo for 36 months, renewing at $8.99/mo, once you confirm your status through a free Student Beans or Beans iD account. The offer pages give no terms beyond "T&Cs apply", and the 1 Site Plan isn't one of the three plans on Bluehost's pricing page, so check the plan and price in the cart before paying.[1, 11, 12, 13]

  4. Redeem the free domain within 90 days

A domain free for the first yearLow effortAnyone buying a 12- or 36-month hosting plan

A 12- or 36-month web hosting plan comes with one free domain for the first year, as a new registration or a transfer in, on 19 extensions including .com, .net, .org and .us; premium names are excluded. It must be redeemed within 90 days of buying the hosting — skip it at checkout and Bluehost emails you a redemption link. The help article puts the voucher's value at $18.99 and the pricing page at up to $17.99, with any difference charged, and after year one a .com renews at $23.99 a year on Bluehost's price list.[1, 6, 7]

  5. Renew on purpose instead of on autopilot

Choose the renewal term, drop unused extrasLow effortExisting customers before a renewal

In the Renewal Center (Billing in your Bluehost Portal), Renew Now sends a product to the cart, where you pick the billing term and can add a promo code if you have one — and Starter's regular rate is $9.99/mo on a 36-month term against $15.99 month to month. Domains and Domain Privacy keep renewing while your account is active, so switch off auto-renew on anything you no longer use at least 16 calendar days before the term ends; Bluehost takes payment 15 days before.[2, 5, 8]

6 rules · bluehost.com, United States

The rules that decide what you pay

What Bluehost says about money-back guarantee, free domain on a refund, automatic renewal, cancellation, renewal refunds and uptime credit — the details that turn a good deal into a bad one, or the other way round.

Money-back guarantee

30 days, for hosting fees paid by credit card.

Shared, VPS and dedicated hosting fees are refunded in full if you cancel within the first 30 days and ask Bluehost's support team for the refund. The guarantee doesn't cover Cloud Hosting, anything on a monthly term, domain registration fees, setup fees or add-ons, and the Terms of Service limit it to credit card payments.[3, 5]

Free domain on a refund

The domain's standard price comes off your refund.

If your plan included a free domain, Bluehost reduces a money-back refund by the domain's standard registration fee, and you keep the domain. The shared hosting price guide puts that deduction at $15.99; the pricing page describes it as the regular cost of your domain.[1, 2, 5]

Automatic renewal

The same term length again, charged 15 days before the end.

Unless you switch it off, a plan renews for a term as long as the first one, at the then-current regular rate. For terms of three months or more, Bluehost sends notice at least 30 days before the payment date and charges 15 days before the term ends; one-month plans are charged 24 hours before expiry without notice. To stop it, opt out at least 16 calendar days before the term ends.[1, 5]

Cancellation

Turn off auto-renew, or ask support to cancel.

Switching off auto-renew in the Renewal Center lets a product lapse on its expiration date; otherwise support can review the account and cancel by chat or at 888-401-4678, and money-back requests must come within 30 days of purchase. Back up your site first: Bluehost deletes the account's files, and the email and websites tied to it go offline.[4, 8]

Renewal refunds

Only within the 15-day prebill window.

Renewals aren't refundable or prorated, except within the 15-day prebill window, and Bluehost gives no refunds for cancellations more than 30 days after purchase. Domain registrations and renewals, Domain Privacy, SSL certificates and SiteLock are nonrefundable.[3, 5]

Uptime credit

5% of a month's hosting fee if shared hosting misses 99.99%.

For shared hosting bought on or after March 5, 2025, Bluehost promises 99.99% uptime; if it falls short, you can claim one credit per month worth 5% of that month's hosting fee. Ask by phone or LiveChat within 30 days of the downtime — approval is at Bluehost's discretion.[1, 5]

    Buy More, Save More

    October 1 – November 30, 2026 (11:59 p.m. ET): 15% off one eligible product, 20% off two, 25% off three or more, on first 12-month terms.[1]

5 catches in the fine print

Watch out for

Where shoppers lose the saving they thought they had.

  1. The intro price lasts one term

Promotional prices are for new customers and the first term only; then the plan renews at the regular rate. On October 17, 2026 Business was $6.99/mo for 36 months, renewing at $13.99/mo, and eCommerce Essentials $14.99/mo, renewing at $21.99/mo.[1, 2]

  2. Pay by credit card or lose the guarantee

Bluehost's Terms of Service say the money-back guarantee is valid for credit card payments only, and its refund policy excludes services on a monthly term. If you might want your money back, check both before paying.[3, 5]

  3. The Pro Email trial turns into a charge

If you opt into the one-month Pro Email free trial that comes with the plans, it renews automatically at $2.99/mo at the end of the first billing cycle unless you cancel before then.[1]

  4. A lapsed domain carries a redemption fee

Bluehost's domain price list (updated July 4, 2026) says an expired domain enters Redemption 30 days after expiry and costs $99.00 to bring back. The pricing page's FAQ describes a 45-day grace period and a $99.95 reactivation fee plus the renewal, with prices dated September 10, 2025.[1, 7]

  5. VPS appears in the sale terms only "if confirmed"

On October 17, 2026 the Buy More, Save More terms named Shared and Advanced hosting as eligible, with VPS Hosting added in brackets "if confirmed". The offer can't be combined with other offers, so check that the discount shows in your cart before paying for a VPS.[1]

Bluehost savings FAQ

Bluehost's own coupon page says most of its discounts apply automatically and that you should use a coupon code only if one has been provided to you; only one coupon or promotion applies at a time. From October 1 to November 30, 2026, its Buy More, Save More sale takes 15% to 25% off eligible 12-month purchases automatically at checkout.[1, 10]

Choose a plan on bluehost.com; the discount either applies by itself or you paste the code into the promo box, and the cart shows it before you pay. When you renew through Renew Now in the Renewal Center, the cart also lets you add a promo code.[8, 10]

Yes, through Student Beans, linked as Student Discount in the bluehost.com footer. On October 17, 2026 the student offer showed a 1 Site Plan at $2.09/mo for 36 months, renewing at $8.99/mo, after you create a free account and confirm you're a student.[11, 12]

Bluehost's Student Beans page also lists military, graduate and healthcare discounts. On October 17, 2026 the military offer showed the same price — a 1 Site Plan at $2.09/mo for 36 months, renewing at $8.99/mo — after you confirm your military employment status with a free Beans iD account.[11, 13]

Shared, VPS and dedicated hosting can be refunded within 30 days of purchase under the money-back guarantee if you paid by credit card; Cloud Hosting, monthly terms, domains and add-ons are excluded. If a free domain came with the plan, its standard price is deducted, and refunds take five to seven business days to reach your bank account.[3, 5]

Plans renew at the regular rate for the same term length you chose. Bluehost's renewal table lists Starter at $9.99/mo on 36 months, $11.99 on 12 months and $15.99 month to month, and Business at $13.99, $15.99 and $20.99.[2, 5]

Yes, for the first year with a 12- or 36-month web hosting plan, on eligible extensions such as .com, .net and .org. It must be redeemed within 90 days and doesn't cover renewals; a .com then renews at $23.99 a year on Bluehost's price list.[1, 6, 7]

In your Bluehost Portal, click Billing, open the Renewal Center and switch off Auto-Renew for each product at least 16 calendar days before its term ends; the product then lapses on its expiration date. For a refund or an account review, contact support by chat or call 888-401-4678.[4, 5, 8]

It's free for the first year on the Business and eCommerce Essentials plans, but not on Starter. After that, Bluehost's domain price list shows it at $15.00 per domain and its hosting price guide gives a renewal price of $15 per domain per year, while its Domain Privacy page shows $11.99 per domain name; it's nonrefundable.[1, 2, 3, 7, 9]
