Samsung Promo Codes & Smart Ways to Save

Most Samsung promotions apply in the cart without a code. Add Offer Program pricing for students, military, public-sector and company staff, instant trade-in credit, price matching on TVs and appliances, and Rewards points.

Does Samsung have promo codes?

Sometimes. Samsung publishes public codes in the terms on its own offer pages — for example, PYPL100 took $100 off the Galaxy Tab S12 Series paid with PayPal from October 7 to 20, 2026. Most Samsung promotions need no code and apply automatically in the cart, and if two offers can't be combined, Samsung keeps the bigger saving.[10, 11, 15]

Our verdict

Check whether you qualify for a Samsung Offer Program — up to 30% off for students, educators, military, government, first responders, healthcare workers and employees of participating companies — and stack it with an instant trade-in credit if you're buying a Galaxy. Found a TV, monitor or appliance cheaper at a listed retailer? Samsung price matches within the 15-day return window, but change-of-mind returns cost a 5% or 15% restocking fee.

Ways to save at Samsung

Ordered by what each is typically worth to a regular shopper — the biggest saving first.

  1. Check whether you qualify for a Samsung Offer Program

Up to 30% offLow effortStudents, educators, military, government, first responders, healthcare workers, employees of participating companies

Samsung runs private-pricing stores for students and educators, military members and veterans, government workers, first responders, healthcare workers and employees of participating companies. Savings vary by product line and go up to 30% off — that's the ceiling, not the usual discount. The pricing covers two products per category a year (four for mobile and home-appliance accessories), and Samsung says it can be combined with a trade-in.[1, 3, 16]

    1. Enter your work or school email in the eligibility checker on the Offer Programs page.
    2. Use a Samsung Account under that email (.edu, .gov, .mil or company), or verify through ID.me.
    3. Shop the program store and sign in before you pay — the discount can't be added after you order.
  2. Trade in your old device for instant credit

Credit off the new device at checkoutSome effortAnyone buying a new Galaxy phone, tablet or wearable

Samsung accepts qualifying phones, tablets, watches, earbuds and laptops — including many non-Samsung devices — and takes the trade-in value off your new device at checkout, so there's no rebate to wait for. In October 2026 its trade-in page showed up to $800 toward a Galaxy Z Fold8; that's the maximum, and your amount depends on the model and condition you select. From time to time Samsung also accepts certain cracked devices.[4]

    1. Choose the trade-in option on the product page and select your old device and its condition.
    2. When the new device arrives, move your data, factory-reset the old one and take out SIM and memory cards.
    3. Ship it with the prepaid label within 15 days of receiving your new device.
  3. Ask Samsung to match a lower price

The difference, as a code or a refundSome effortTV, monitor, audio, storage and appliance buyers

For TVs, projectors, audio, monitors, memory and storage, Samsung matches a list of named retailers that includes Amazon, Best Buy, Target and Walmart; for home appliances, retailers such as Best Buy, Home Depot and Lowe's. Ask before ordering and you get a promo code for that product; ask after, while the order is undelivered or within its 15-day return window, and Samsung refunds the difference. Phones, tablets, laptops and wearables are only matched against Samsung's own site and app.[8]

    1. Find the identical product, in stock and both sold and shipped by an eligible retailer.
    2. Save the listing's URL and a screenshot, plus your order ID if you've already ordered.
    3. Contact Samsung's Order Support team — it replies within 24 hours.
  4. Sign in before you buy to earn Samsung Rewards

0.5%–1.5% back in pointsLow effortAnyone with a Samsung Account

Points only count when you're signed in to your Samsung Account at checkout on samsung.com or the Shop Samsung app, and each one is worth $0.005. Silver members earn 1 point per $1 (0.5% back); spend $500 within 12 months to reach Gold at 2 points per $1, and Platinum earns 3 points per $1. From Gold up you also get 10% off accessories for most phones, tablets, appliances and home-entertainment products. Points can pay for all or part of a later order and expire after 36 months.[5, 6]

  5. Look at Certified Re-Newed before buying a new phone

Refurbished by Samsung, 1-year warrantyLow effortPhone buyers who don't need the newest model

Certified Re-Newed Galaxy phones are refurbished by Samsung with a certified new battery, genuine Samsung parts and a new IMEI number, pass a 147-point inspection and arrive unlocked in a new box. They carry the same one-year limited warranty as Samsung's new phones, ship with free standard delivery and can be returned within 15 days, subject to restocking fees.[13]

6 rules · samsung.com, United States

The rules that decide what you pay

What Samsung says about shipping, returns, restocking fees, damaged or defective items, price match and promo codes — the details that turn a good deal into a bad one, or the other way round.

Shipping

Free standard shipping on most items, in 1–5 business days.

Expedited (two business days) and express (one business day) cost extra where offered, and orders can take up to 24 hours to process. TVs 55 inches and larger and large appliances are delivered by appointment, and Samsung doesn't ship to PO boxes, freight forwarders or military post offices. Free pickup is available for many products at select Samsung Experience Stores, Best Buy and P.C. Richard & Son, where orders are held for 5 days.[9]

Returns

15 days from delivery, with free return shipping.

After you request a return you have another 15 days to send it back with Samsung's prepaid label; your exact deadline is on the My Orders page. Everything that came in the box must go back — including free promotional items, whose value is deducted if they're missing — and phones, wearables, TVs and monitors need a factory reset. Shipping, installation and other service fees aren't refunded.[7]

Restocking fees

15% on home appliances, 5% on most other products.

The fee applies when you change your mind or ordered the wrong product, color or size, and is worked out on the net product price. Galaxy S Series and A Series phones have no restocking fee, and it's waived for anything that arrives damaged or defective.[7]

Damaged or defective items

Report within 5 days of delivery or 2 days of installation, whichever is later.

Check appliances and TVs before you sign, and tell the driver or refuse the delivery if something's wrong. Samsung asks for photos of the product, its packaging and the shipping label; if the damage can't be confirmed, the order can still be returned for another reason within the normal window.[7]

Price match

A code before you buy, a refund of the difference after.

The competing price must be advertised and in stock when you ask, and is compared before tax and delivery, without open-box or used pricing and without post-purchase rebates such as trade-in or mail-in offers. Membership retailers like Costco and Sam's Club aren't eligible, and only one match per order is approved when the lower price is on Samsung's own site or app.[8]

Promo codes

Not every promotion stacks — Samsung keeps the bigger one.

Most promotions apply automatically once an eligible product is in your cart; codes are typed in at checkout and aren't case-sensitive. When two promotions that can't be combined end up in one order, Samsung keeps whichever saves you more, and some codes only work for the email address or Samsung Account they were sent to.[10, 11]

5 catches in the fine print

Watch out for

Where shoppers lose the saving they thought they had.

  1. Don't ship your trade-in until you're keeping the new device

Returning the new device cancels the trade-in, but Samsung can't send back a trade-in it has already accepted, and the credit isn't refunded. Wait until you're sure before posting the old one.[4, 7]

  2. The trade-in clock is 15 days

If the old device doesn't reach Samsung within 15 days of your new one arriving, the full credit is charged back. If it fails inspection, the credit is charged back less $25, and you have 7 days to ask for the device to be returned.[4]

  3. Forgot the Offer Program discount? You'll have to reorder

Samsung can't add Offer Program pricing to an order you've already placed: you'd need to cancel it — only possible while a Cancel button shows in My Orders — and order again. If you qualify for more than one program, only one can be used.[3, 12, 17]

  4. Codes from forums can be rejected

Samsung's help centre says codes it doesn't recognise return "Promo code not valid", naming codes passed on by retailers or found on social media and internet forums. Codes emailed to someone only work with that email address.[10]

  5. Rewards points arrive late and disappear on returns

Points are credited only after the return period closes — 15 to 45 days after purchase — and aren't added at all if you cancel or return the order. Points you spent on a returned order come back only after the product reaches Samsung and is inspected.[5, 6]

Yes. Active service members can join the Samsung Offer Program with a .mil email address, and active members, veterans and retirees can also verify through ID.me. Veterans, guard and reserve members, retirees and immediate family can use WeSalute instead, where Samsung says savings go up to 30% — the two programs' discounts may differ.[1, 2]

Standard shipping, 1–5 business days, is free on most items; expedited and express delivery cost extra where offered. Picking up at select Samsung Experience Stores, Best Buy or P.C. Richard & Son is free.[9]

You have 15 days from delivery to request a return, then 15 more days to ship it with a prepaid label. Change-of-mind returns carry a 15% restocking fee on home appliances and 5% on most other products; Galaxy S and A Series phones are exempt, and damaged or defective items are fee-free.[7]

Yes, with limits: TVs, monitors, audio, storage and home appliances can be matched against named retailers, while phones, tablets, laptops and wearables are only matched against Samsung's own site and app. The order must be undelivered or within its 15-day return window, and Samsung replies within 24 hours.[8]

Each point is worth $0.005 when redeemed on samsung.com or in the Shop Samsung app, and points can't be swapped for cash. Silver members earn 1 point per $1 (0.5% back); higher tiers earn 2 or 3 points per $1, and the $149.99-a-year VIP Advantage membership earns 6.[5, 6]

Select your old device on the product page and the credit comes off your new device at checkout. You then have 15 days from receiving the new device to send the old one in; if it doesn't meet Samsung's conditions, the credit is charged back, less $25.[4]

Samsung Week runs from October 12 to November 1, 2026, timed around Samsung's November 1 founding anniversary. Its offers are collected on the Samsung Week page on samsung.com.[14]
