Zappos Promo Codes, VIP Points & Price Match

Zappos's Coupons & Sales page shows no public code. It steers shoppers to a sign-up code for new email subscribers, app-only coupons and free Zappos VIP, whose points become dollar codes. A pre-order price match and a 10-day price guarantee cover the rest.

Does Zappos have promo codes?

Zappos's Coupons & Sales page shows no public promo code. It points instead to a 10% code for new marketing email subscribers (one per email address), app-only coupons in the Zappos app, and VIP Codes you redeem from Zappos VIP points. Codes go in the Redeem Gift Cards and Coupons box at checkout.[3, 6, 7, 8]

Our verdict

Join Zappos VIP before you order: it's free, adds free expedited shipping and pays 1 point per $1, with 100 points worth a $1 code and double points once Amazon Prime is linked. Spotted the same pair cheaper on a qualifying US retailer's site? Call or chat before you order for a price match, and if Zappos lowers its own price within 10 calendar days you can claim the difference. Returns cost nothing, but the policy updated September 9, 2026 allows 60 days, and returns that break its rules, such as a taped-up shoebox, can draw a restocking fee of up to 50%.

Ways to save at Zappos

Ordered by what each is typically worth to a regular shopper — the biggest saving first.

  1. Join Zappos VIP and link Amazon Prime

Free expedited shipping, $1 per 100 pointsLow effortUS residents 18 or older

Zappos VIP has no fee, and members get free expedited shipping plus 1 VIP Point per $1 on qualifying purchases; every 100 points redeem for a $1 VIP Code. Link an eligible Amazon Prime membership — Student and Household plans are on the list — and you earn an extra point per $1, but only from the moment the link is confirmed, not on earlier orders. Bonus points, such as 5 a day for logging in and 10 for each eligible review, stop counting after 25,000 in a calendar year.[2, 3, 4]

    1. Join on the Zappos VIP page and accept the VIP terms.
    2. Choose Login with Amazon to link an eligible Prime membership.
    3. Once you have 100 points or more, redeem them in the My VIP dashboard.
  2. Ask for a price match before you check out

Rival's price plus its standard shippingSome effortAnyone who finds the item cheaper first

When a qualifying retailer's website sells the same brand, color and size for less, Zappos will sell it to you at that retail price plus the rival's standard shipping fee — but only before you place your order, never on an existing one. Auction, membership or club, outlet, discount and non-US sites don't qualify, nor do third-party sellers on Amazon, and Zappos won't match another store's site-wide promotions, coupons, bundles, rebates or mail-in offers.[5]

    1. Find the identical item for less on a qualifying US retailer's site.
    2. Call (877) 927-2332 or live chat the Zappos Customer Loyalty Team before ordering.
    3. Let them place the order at the adjusted price.
  3. Claim the 10-day price guarantee if the price drops

The difference, back to your cardLow effortAnything bought in the last 10 calendar days

If Zappos reduces the price of something you bought within the past 10 calendar days, call or live chat the Customer Loyalty Team and ask for the difference plus any sales tax, as long as the item is still available in the same brand, color and size. The money goes back to the payment method you used. Codes and site-wide promotions that appear after your purchase aren't applied retroactively.[5]

  4. Use the email sign-up code and app-only coupons

10% off your next purchaseLow effortNew marketing email subscribers; app users

Zappos gives new marketing email subscribers 10% off their next purchase, limited to one code per email address. Its Coupons & Sales page also promotes app-only coupons in the Zappos app, without listing what they're worth. Any code goes in the Redeem Gift Cards and Coupons box under Your Payment Information at checkout.[6, 7, 8]

  5. Start from the clearance links on the Coupons & Sales page

Clearance markdownsLow effortShoppers flexible on style and color

The Coupons & Sales page links to clearance for women, men and kids and for shoes, clothing and bags, alongside tiles such as 50% Off or More sneakers and $50 & Under heels and sandals. Zappos says it can't tell ahead of time whether an item will be marked down, and different colors of one style can carry different prices, so compare colors before choosing. Look for a Final Sale label: those items can't be returned.[1, 6, 8]

Zappos promo codes

Codes and offers kept by David Jones, who lists only codes the store makes public.

Zappos shows no public promo code on its Coupons & Sales page: its codes come from email sign-up (new subscribers only), the Zappos app and VIP points, and VIP Codes are personal to each member. We list a Zappos code here only when Zappos itself shows it publicly on zappos.com, with its terms.

No public code we could confirm right now

We would rather show nothing than a code that fails at checkout. The ways to save above work without one.

6 rules · zappos.com, United States

The rules that decide what you pay

What Zappos says about shipping, returns, refunds, Zappos VIP, price match and order changes — the details that turn a good deal into a bad one, or the other way round.

Shipping

Free to any US address, including territories and APO/FPO.

Standard shipping takes 3–5 business days, and Zappos VIP members get expedited shipping (1–3 business days) at no charge. Expedited isn't offered to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses, and some items, such as watches containing lithium batteries, can't be expedited. Zappos doesn't ship to other countries.[1, 9]

Returns

Free, within 60 days, in new condition.

The policy page, last updated September 9, 2026, says to start a return in Order History within 60 days of receiving the order; the general FAQ counts 60 days from purchase. Items must be unworn and unwashed, with every tag and security tag attached, and shoes must come back in the original shoe box with no packing tape or postal labels on it. Drop-off is at UPS with a QR code or printed label, and Final Sale items can't be returned.[1, 8]

Refunds

Store credit or your original payment method.

Account holders pick store credit or a refund to the original payment; guest checkouts get the original payment only. For eligible orders the refund is issued once the carrier scans your drop-off — allow up to 24 hours for store credit, up to 10 business days at some banks, 20 for Afterpay and 30 for PayPal. Some refunds can take up to 30 days.[1]

Zappos VIP

Points on what you pay; codes in whole dollars up to $100.

Points are earned on the total you pay, tax and shipping included, but not on the part covered by VIP Codes, other discount codes or gift cards, and purchases on 6pm.com don't earn them. VIP Codes can't buy gift cards and expire 90 days after they're sent. A membership that earns no points for a year can be unregistered, and points earned before that are voided.[3, 4]

Price match

Before ordering only; afterwards, a 10-day price guarantee.

Zappos matches a qualifying retailer's lower retail price plus standard shipping for the same brand, color and size, adds sales tax, and won't apply it to gift cards or earlier purchases. A matched or price-guaranteed item swapped for another size keeps the lower price; switching color doesn't. The price guarantee doesn't cover shipping costs or gift cards.[5]

Order changes

Call right away — within the hour if you can.

To fix a wrong address or upgrade to next-business-day shipping, call as soon as you've ordered; Zappos says that after more than an hour the order has probably shipped. A shipping upgrade may cost extra. Zappos doesn't do back orders: out-of-stock orders are cancelled unless you ask for a replacement item.[8, 9]

5 catches in the fine print

Watch out for

Where shoppers lose the saving they thought they had.

  1. A taped shoebox can cost up to half the price

Shoes have to go back in their original box, without packing tape or postal labels stuck on it. Returns that don't meet the policy may get no refund at all, or a restocking fee of up to 50% of the item price.[1]

  2. The app page still promises a year of returns

Zappos's app page advertises free returns for a whole year, while its Shipping and Returns policy, updated September 9, 2026, sets 60 days. Plan on 60: after that, store-credit returns are possible only in limited cases through customer service.[1, 10]

  3. Returning a VIP-code purchase loses the code

The refund leaves out what the VIP Code covered (a $100 item bought with a $10 code refunds $90), the code isn't replaced, and points earned on a returned or cancelled order are taken back — which can push your balance below zero.[3, 4]

  4. A price match can't be added after you order

Existing orders aren't eligible for price matching, so ask first. Once you've bought, only a price cut by Zappos itself within 10 days counts, and codes or promotions announced later aren't applied.[5]

  5. An early refund isn't the end of a return

If Zappos refunds you and the items never arrive back, it emails a warning at 30 days and may charge your original payment after 45. Anything you send back by mistake isn't returned to you.[1, 8]

Zappos savings FAQ

Zappos's Coupons & Sales page shows no public promo code. It points instead to a 10% code for new marketing email subscribers (one per email address), app-only coupons in the Zappos app, and VIP Codes you redeem from Zappos VIP points. Codes go in the Redeem Gift Cards and Coupons box at checkout.[3, 6, 7, 8]

Yes — there's no membership fee, but you must be a US resident aged 18 or over. Members get free expedited shipping and earn 1 point per $1, with 100 points worth a $1 VIP Code; linking an eligible Amazon Prime membership doubles that to 2 points per $1.[2, 3, 4]

Yes, on every order to the US, US territories and APO/FPO addresses, with no minimum. Standard shipping takes 3–5 business days; VIP members get expedited shipping (1–3 business days) at no charge, where expedited is available.[1, 9, 10]

Its Shipping and Returns policy, updated September 9, 2026, allows free returns within 60 days for items in new condition: unworn, tags attached, in the original packaging, and for shoes the original box without tape or labels. Final Sale items can't be returned, and returns that break the rules can carry a restocking fee of up to 50%.[1]

Yes, before you order: call (877) 927-2332 or live chat, and Zappos matches a qualifying US retailer's lower price plus its standard shipping for the same brand, color and size. After you buy, its price guarantee refunds the difference if Zappos lowers its own price within 10 calendar days.[5]

Zappos's coupon and VIP pages don't list a student or military discount. Students with Prime Student can link it to Zappos VIP — Student is one of the eligible Prime types — to earn 2 points per $1, and orders to APO/FPO addresses ship and return free.[1, 3, 6]

Every 100 points redeem for $1 in VIP Codes, so 1 point per $1 works out to $1 back for every $100 you pay, or $2 with Prime linked. Codes come in whole dollars, up to $100 each, and expire 90 days after they're sent.[2, 3, 4]

Each November Zappos converts unredeemed points into VIP Codes; if that doesn't happen, points expire a year after they're earned. A membership that earns no points for a full year can be unregistered, and its points are voided.[3, 4]

Zappos says it doesn't know whether an item will go on sale until the markdown actually happens, and colors of the same style can be priced differently. Its Coupons & Sales page gathers clearance for women, men, kids, shoes, clothing and bags, and after you buy, the 10-day price guarantee covers a Zappos price cut.[5, 6, 8]
