Newegg Promo Codes: Newegg+, EggPoints & More

Newegg prints promo codes right on product listings, one item each. Add free Newegg+ shipping on eligible items, newsletter codes that unlock after 24 hours and Refreshed tech with 90 days to return — and mind the final-sale open box.

Does Newegg have promo codes?

Yes. Newegg shows promo codes on product listings and gathers them on its Coupons page, each covering one item and marked as a limited offer. It also emails codes to newsletter subscribers and gives Newegg+ members their own, and only one code works per item.[1, 2, 3]

Our verdict

Look under the price for a promo code tied to that item, and opt in to Newegg+ for free to get free standard shipping on eligible items plus member-only codes; newsletter codes only work 24 hours after you subscribe. Buying used, pick Newegg Refreshed over open box: Refreshed gives 90 days to return, while open box is final sale. Opened graphics cards, motherboards, hard drives, projectors and TVs can also cost a 15% restocking fee to send back.

Ways to save at Newegg

Ordered by what each is typically worth to a regular shopper — the biggest saving first.

  1. Opt in to Newegg+ before you check out

Free shipping on eligible items, member codesLow effortAnyone with a Newegg account

Newegg+ is a free loyalty program you switch on in your Newegg account. Members get free standard shipping on a wide selection of items within the contiguous US and DC, early access to some deals and launches, member-only discount codes entered at checkout, and 10% off select product warranties. Oversized and freight items don't ship free, and neither do orders to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.[1]

    1. Sign in to your Newegg account, or create one.
    2. Go to Manage Account and opt in to Newegg+.
    3. Check that the items you want are marked as Newegg+ eligible on their product pages.
  2. Use the promo code printed on the listing

A set dollar amount off that itemLow effortAnyone buying an item that shows a code

Newegg shows promo codes directly under the price on product listings, worded like "$20 off w/ promo code …, limited offer", and gathers those items on the Coupons page in Newegg Deals. On October 16, 2026, the codes there took between $2.50 and $200 off single items. A code is tied to its item, only one code applies per item and each works once, and it stops at its expiry or when its funding runs out; no end date is shown on the listing. You also have to spend more than the code takes off.[2, 3, 5]

    1. Open Newegg Deals, then Coupons — or look under the price on the item's own page.
    2. Add that exact item to your cart and copy its code.
    3. Enter the code at checkout and check the discount appears before you pay.
  3. Subscribe to the newsletter a day before you buy

Access to Newegg's emailed codesLow effortAnyone planning a bigger purchase

Newegg says most of its promo codes are emailed to newsletter subscribers or sent to certain registered users. A newsletter code can't be used until you've been subscribed for at least 24 hours, so sign up before the day you plan to order. Codes still follow the usual limits: one per item, one use, and none on combo discounts or items that come with a free gift.[3, 4]

  4. Buy Newegg Refreshed instead of new

Pre-owned, with 90 days to returnLow effortPhones, tablets, laptops, GPUs and monitors

Newegg Refreshed items are pre-owned products inspected, tested, cleaned and refurbished by Newegg, its partners or vetted third-party refurbishers. Newegg promises Grade A condition, battery health of 80% or more and no dead or stuck pixels, and its Refreshed Guarantee allows a refund or replacement within 90 days of delivery — new notebooks and monitors get 15 days. Graphics cards come without cables and stands.[6, 10]

  5. Claim the difference if Newegg cuts the price within 7 days

The price drop, as a Customer Care cardSome effortItems sold and shipped by Newegg

If the exact same item — same model number, item number and specs — gets cheaper on Newegg.com within 7 calendar days of your purchase, contact customer service to request a price match. Approved claims are paid as a Newegg Customer Care card good for 365 days. Competitors' prices, Marketplace sellers, open box, refurbished, clearance and bundle items don't count, and neither do event prices such as Shell Shocker, Black Friday, Cyber Monday and the FantasTech Sale.[8]

    1. Note your order date and the price you paid.
    2. Check the item's price on Newegg.com over the next 7 days.
    3. If it drops and the item is in stock, contact customer service to request the match.
  6. Pick the 4% discount on the Newegg Store Credit Card

4% off what you charge to the cardSome effortCardholders who pay the balance in full

The Newegg Store Credit Card, issued by Synchrony Bank with no annual fee, lets you choose at checkout between 4% off and special financing — 6 months on $199 or more, 12 months on $499 or more. The 4% is taken after other discounts, can't be combined with financing, may not stack with every promo code, and skips gift cards, warranties, taxes and shipping. New accounts carry a 34.99% purchase APR, and financing charges interest from the purchase date if the promo balance isn't cleared in time.[9]

Newegg promo codes

Codes and offers kept by David Jones, who lists only codes the store makes public.

Newegg attaches its public promo codes to single products — shown on the listing and on its Coupons page, marked "limited offer" without an end date — and emails more to newsletter subscribers and Newegg+ members. We list only site-wide codes and dated deals Newegg shows publicly, with their end dates.

No public code we could confirm right now

We would rather show nothing than a code that fails at checkout. The ways to save above work without one.

6 rules · newegg.com, United States

The rules that decide what you pay

What Newegg says about shipping, returns, restocking fee, open box and Refreshed, marketplace sellers and cancellations — the details that turn a good deal into a bad one, or the other way round.

Shipping

Costs depend on your ZIP code; Newegg+ adds free standard shipping on eligible items.

Orders take 1–2 business days to process before they ship, and the estimated arrival date is not a guarantee. Super Eggsaver (estimated 4–7 business days) is the only option for PO boxes, and PO box orders over $1,000 aren't accepted. Original shipping fees aren't refunded when you return an item.[1, 11, 12]

Returns

15 or 30 days, depending on the product category.

Notebooks, desktop PCs, monitors, tablets, headphones, home audio and several other categories get 15 days; all other products get 30 days, and each product page's Warranty & Returns tab shows its exact policy. Return labels are free for items up to 50 pounds, but personal returns of heavier items aren't. Refunds go back to the original payment method once the return is processed.[10]

Restocking fee

15% on some product types once opened.

Hard drives, motherboards, graphics cards, projectors and TVs returned in opened condition can carry a 15% restocking fee. New, unopened returns are exempt, and so are items that arrived damaged or defective.[10]

Open box and Refreshed

Open box is final sale; Refreshed items get 90 days.

Open-box items aren't eligible for a refund or replacement unless they arrive damaged or defective and you contact customer service within 15 days of delivery; otherwise, a manufacturer warranty may still cover them. Newegg Refreshed items can go back for a refund or replacement within 90 days of delivery, and a replacement must itself be returned within that original 90 days. For other refurbished items, warranty support beyond Newegg's return policy generally comes from the refurbishing vendor, not the manufacturer.[6, 10, 18]

Marketplace sellers

Third-party sellers ship their own orders, and their policies win.

Items listed as sold and shipped by a third-party seller come from that seller, and where its posted policies differ from Newegg's, the seller's policies apply — check the seller's profile for its return terms. Items labelled Shipped by Newegg are packed and shipped by Newegg even when a seller lists them, so you contact Newegg, not the seller, about their shipping and returns.[10, 11, 13]

Cancellations

Free until the order is processed and shipped.

You can cancel at no cost any time before your order has been processed and shipped, as long as Newegg has time to stop it. Newegg can also decline, cancel or limit an order itself; if your card was already charged, it credits the amount back.[13]

5 catches in the fine print

Watch out for

Where shoppers lose the saving they thought they had.

  1. Open box is final sale

Open-box purchases can't be returned for a refund or replacement. Newegg replaces one only if it arrives damaged or defective and you contact customer service within 15 days of delivery.[10]

  2. Opening a graphics card can cost 15%

Opened hard drives, motherboards, graphics cards, projectors and TVs carry a 15% restocking fee unless they arrived damaged or defective. If you might send it back, leave the box sealed until you're sure.[10]

  3. Returning part of a combo shrinks the refund

The combo discount is taken off the refund for the item you send back. If the discount is bigger than that item's price, it can only be returned together with other items from the combo.[5]

  4. Free gifts and promotional gift cards come out of a refund

When you return an item that came with something advertised as free, its value may be deducted from your refund, except for digital game codes. A Promotional Gift Card issued with a purchase is voided on return, and any amount already spent is subtracted from the refund.[5, 14]

  5. A submitted mail-in rebate ends your return

Rebates aren't taken off the price at checkout: you pay in full and claim the money from the manufacturer afterwards. Newegg can reject a return of any product you've already submitted a mail-in rebate for.[10, 15]

Newegg lists the usual reasons: you haven't been subscribed to the newsletter for 24 hours, the code is restricted to another customer, it has expired or run out of funding, or it isn't valid for that item. Codes also don't combine with combo discounts or apply to items with a free gift.[3]

Yes. Newegg+ is a free loyalty program you opt into from Manage Account in your Newegg account, and you can cancel it there at any time.[1]

Newegg+ members get free standard shipping on a wide selection of eligible items within the contiguous US and DC, excluding oversized and freight items. Otherwise, shipping options and fees are shown at checkout based on your ZIP code.[1, 11]

Newegg gives 15 days on notebooks, desktop PCs, monitors, tablets, headphones and some other categories, and 30 days on everything else. Open box is final sale, Newegg Refreshed items get 90 days, and some opened items carry a 15% restocking fee. Marketplace sellers can add their own return terms.[6, 10]

Only its own prices: if an item sold and shipped by Newegg drops in price on Newegg.com within 7 days of your purchase, you can ask for the difference as a Customer Care card. Newegg doesn't match Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Target or manufacturer sites.[8]

Yes, for shoppers who add a valid .edu email to their Newegg account. The Student Store advertises an extra 5% off or more on eligible products; only items with the Student Discount Available badge qualify, and you apply the promo code shown on the item at checkout. Newegg calls it a limited-time promotion.[16, 17]

Every 100 EggPoints are worth $1 at checkout. You earn 1 point per pre-tax dollar on items with the EggPoints badge, after promo codes and other discounts; points become usable 30 days after the invoice date and expire a year later unless another qualifying purchase extends them.[7]

It is either a suggested retail price, shown only if the product sold on Newegg or was offered by other retailers at or above it in the past 90 days (180 for seasonal products), or the 90-day median price customers paid on Newegg.com outside limited-time deals. A Lowest price in 30 days label means the current price is at or below the lowest featured price of the past 30 days.[19]
