Crunchyroll Promo Codes, Free Trial & Plans
At Crunchyroll the money is in plan choice: Fan is $4 a month cheaper than Mega Fan, yearly billing carries a Save 16% label, the 7-day trial works only once, and Delta SkyMiles flyers can unlock 24 hours of Mega Fan in flight.
Does Crunchyroll have promo codes?
Crunchyroll's help centre says a discount or promo code can be applied when you subscribe again, and crunchyroll.com/redeem takes gift card and prepaid codes. None of the Crunchyroll pages in our sources showed a public promo code in October 2026; the published savings are the Fan plan, yearly billing and the free trial.[1, 6, 8]

- Top way to save: Pick the plan by how many screens you need
Our verdict
If one screen is enough, Fan at $9.99 a month costs $4 less than Mega Fan ($13.99, four screens). Watching all year? The Yearly option is labelled Save 16%, and a 12-month Fan gift is $99.99 against $119.88 for 12 monthly bills at $9.99. Start the 7-day free trial only when you can use the whole week, because cancelling it ends Premium immediately.

Ways to save at Crunchyroll
Ordered by what each is typically worth to a regular shopper — the biggest saving first.
Pick the plan by how many screens you need
On Crunchyroll's US Premium page, Fan costs $9.99 a month and streams on 1 device at a time. Mega Fan is $13.99 for 4 devices and adds Game Vault and Crunchyroll Store access; Ultimate Fan is $17.99 for 6 devices and adds Crunchyroll Manga and a swag bag after 12 consecutive months. Every tier is listed without ads, though Crunchyroll notes plans may still show trailers and promotions for its own services. Its terms limit an account to people living at the same address.[1, 5, 6]
- Count how many screens in your home stream at the same time.
- Choose Fan for one, Mega Fan for up to four, Ultimate Fan for up to six.
- Upgrade later from Membership Info if you need more screens.
Pay for a year instead of month by month
The US Premium page switches between Monthly and Yearly billing, and the yearly side carries a Save 16% label; the copy we read (October 12, 2026) doesn't print the yearly price itself. The US Crunchyroll Store sells 12-month membership gifts at $99.99 for Fan, $139.99 for Mega Fan and $179.99 for Ultimate Fan, against $9.99, $13.99 and $17.99 for a single month. A gift is prepaid for its term and doesn't renew on its own, and the store counts twelve months as 360 days.[1, 2, 8, 10]
- Open the Premium page and switch the plan view to Yearly before you subscribe.
- For a prepaid year with no auto-renewal, buy a 12-month gift on the Crunchyroll Store instead.
- Redeem the code at crunchyroll.com/redeem while signed in.
Cancel between seasons instead of paying for idle months
Crunchyroll's help centre says only Google Play subscriptions can be paused, and suggests everyone else cancel and resubscribe when they want to watch again. Cancelling stops future payments while Premium stays on until your renewal date, and you can undo the cancellation before the cycle ends. Cancel before the renewal date: on or after it, one more charge for the new cycle is normal.[4, 7]
Use the 7-day free trial once, and use all of it
The standard trial lasts 7 days and needs a valid payment method; if you've had a trial before, the plan bills straight away. Unless you cancel first, it becomes the paid plan you chose, and Crunchyroll's terms say it won't warn you the trial is ending unless the law requires it. Cancelling during the trial ends Premium immediately, not at the end of the seven days.[3, 5]
- Find your trial end date on the Membership Info page or in the confirmation email.
- Decide on day 6 or 7 whether to stay.
- Cancel before the end date if you don't want to be charged.
Flying Delta? Unlock 24 hours of Mega Fan in the air
Delta SkyMiles members on eligible Delta-operated flights from the US can activate 24 hours of Mega Fan from the Delta Sync Wi-Fi hub, as long as they aren't already Premium. The pass keeps running after you land until the 24 hours are up, and you can redeem it up to five times in a 12-month period. First-time users can still take the standard 7-day trial afterwards.[12]
- In flight, connect to DeltaWiFi.com and log in with your SkyMiles account.
- Select the Crunchyroll offer in the Delta Sync hub and tap Continue.
- Sign in to Crunchyroll, or create an account, to start the 24 hours.

Crunchyroll promo codes
Codes and offers kept by David Jones, who lists only codes the store makes public.
Crunchyroll's codes are gift card and prepaid codes, redeemed at crunchyroll.com/redeem; its help centre also says a discount or promo code can be applied when you subscribe. We list only codes Crunchyroll shows publicly on its own site, with their end dates.
No public code we could confirm right now
We would rather show nothing than a code that fails at checkout. The ways to save above work without one.
6 rules · crunchyroll.com, United States
The rules that decide what you pay
What Crunchyroll says about cancellation, refunds, free trials, plan changes, pausing and billing — the details that turn a good deal into a bad one, or the other way round.
Cancellation
Cancel any time; Premium stays on until the paid period ends.
If you pay Crunchyroll directly, cancel under Settings → Membership Info → Cancel Subscription. Memberships started in the iOS or Android app, or through Amazon, PlayStation, Roku or YouTube, are cancelled with that company, and Crunchyroll Support can't do it for you. Deleting the app, logging out or removing your card doesn't stop billing.[4]
Refunds
Cancelling stops future charges rather than refunding the current one.
Crunchyroll's terms say you keep access until the end of the period you paid for, unless it chooses to give a refund, and you forfeit any service or referral credits and unredeemed benefits. Subscriptions billed by Apple, Google or another partner are refunded through that company. When Crunchyroll does refund, card refunds usually take 3–5 business days and PayPal up to 30 days.[5, 16, 17]
Free trials
Seven days as standard, available once, with a payment method on file.
The trial turns into the plan you selected at the then-current price unless you cancel before it ends. Promotional trials can have a different length, shown on the sign-up page. After a cancelled subscription, Crunchyroll's terms say you may not qualify for another trial or discounted price.[3, 5]
Plan changes
Upgrade in place; move down by cancelling and resubscribing.
Direct subscribers upgrade under Membership Info → Change Plan, where Review Plan Changes shows any charge due. To move to a cheaper plan, cancel, wait until the account shows Free, then pick the new plan on the Premium page — a discount or promo code can be applied at that point. In the Apple or Google app, upgrades work on monthly plans only.[6]
Pausing
The help centre and the terms describe it differently.
The help centre says only subscriptions billed through Google Play can be paused, from Membership → Manage in the Android app. Crunchyroll's Terms of Service describe a pause for monthly members not on a trial, set at least 24 hours before the billing date. Look for a pause option where you manage billing before you cancel.[4, 5]
Billing
30-day cycles, with sales tax on top.
Crunchyroll bills on a 30-day cycle (or 90 or 360 days), so your charge date moves around the calendar. Advertised prices don't include sales tax, which is added according to your billing address. Price changes start with the next billing period, with advance notice where the law requires it.[5, 14, 15]
5 catches in the fine print
Watch out for
Where shoppers lose the saving they thought they had.
A charge can land after you cancel
Cancel on or after your renewal date and one final charge for that cycle is normal; the plan then stops renewing. If charges continue, look for a second Crunchyroll account under another email or a subscription in the App Store or Google Play.[7]
Cancelling a trial cuts access straight away
Unlike a paid plan, a free trial ends the moment you cancel it, so you lose the rest of the seven days. Trials taken through a partner offer may keep access for the length of that promotion.[3, 5]
A later promotion won't lower what you paid
Crunchyroll's terms rule out refunds, adjustments or price protection when a promotional offer appears after you've subscribed. They also warn that your ability to combine promotions may be limited.[5]
Partner subscriptions are locked to the partner
The Roku Channel, the Apple TV Channel and YouTube Primetime sell only the Fan plan, which works only inside that service and can't be linked to an existing Crunchyroll account. PlayStation sells only Mega Fan and can't switch plans, and available plans vary by payment method.[18, 19, 20, 21, 22]
Gift codes are tied to their country
A US membership gift can only be redeemed in the US, and Crunchyroll gives no refund if you try to redeem a card outside its region. Cards from unauthorized resellers aren't honored, and too many quick attempts can block redemptions for a while, so wait a few hours before retrying.[2, 9, 11]
