BarkBox Promo Codes & Plan Savings
BarkBox gets cheaper per box the longer you commit: $24 a month on the 12-month plan against $30 month to month, and new subscribers on a 6- or 12-month plan get an extra toy in every box for a year. Box shipping is free, but box items can't be sent back.
Does BarkBox have promo codes?
BARK's checkout has a coupon code box (gift card codes go there too), but the main new-subscriber offer needs no code: pick a 6- or 12-month plan and the plan page unlocks a free extra toy in every box for a year. Friends you refer get $20 off a first purchase.[2, 3, 7]

- Top way to save: Commit to the 12-month plan
Our verdict
If your dog will happily use a year of boxes, take the 12-month plan at $24 a month instead of $30; as a new subscriber on a 6- or 12-month plan you also get a free extra toy in every box for a year. Read the commitment first: a 6- or 12-month plan keeps billing every month until its term ends, even after you cancel, then renews for the same length unless you switch off auto-renewal.

Ways to save at BarkBox
Ordered by what each is typically worth to a regular shopper — the biggest saving first.
Commit to the 12-month plan
BarkBox's plan picker prices the monthly plan at $30, the 6-month plan at $27 and the 12-month plan at $24 a month — $6 a month less than going month to month, or $72 across the year. Shipping is free on all three, and every dog size costs the same. The same step offers a Prepay option marked Save 10% that takes the plan up front; prepaid or not, the plan renews automatically and commits you to its full length.[1, 2]
- Take the quiz on BarkBox's sign-up page: toy style, size, allergies.
- At the plan step, choose 12 months (or 6 months for a shorter commitment).
- Decide whether to pay monthly or Prepay before you check out.
Start on a 6- or 12-month plan to get an extra toy free
BARK's gift to new subscribers who pick a 6- or 12-month plan is one free extra toy in every box for a year, which its plan page values at $144. It's the same extra toy BARK's Extra Toy Club otherwise sells for $9 a month. The free toys are tied to the longer plans, so a monthly subscription doesn't come with them.[1, 2]
Refer friends for $50 credits
BARK's Refer a Friend page gives a friend $20 off a first purchase (the page sets a minimum spend) and you $50 off for each successful referral. Your $50 credit works on Ship Now products only — one-time shop orders — in a single transaction, and any amount you don't use is lost. Referrals count only for new customers living at a different address from yours.[7]
Add extras to your next box instead of a separate order
Most items on bark.co have an Add To Next Order button that puts them into your upcoming box, so they ship with it. Ordering them through the cart instead sends them between boxes, and those orders ship free only from $35. Past boxes can't be reordered, but individual toys from them can be added from your account while supplies last.[3]
Claim Subscriber Perks on a 6- or 12-month plan
Subscribers on an active 6- or 12-month BarkBox, Super Chewer, Combo or All Treat plan in the contiguous US can claim partner offers from the Perks page — on October 17, 2026 they included $300 off BARK Air flights (valid through March 31, 2027), 36% off an online vet care membership, a free week of Dogtopia daycare for first-time customers and $75 off an Embark DNA test. Each offer can be claimed once per account, and 1-month plans don't qualify.[3, 8]
- Log in to your BARK account and open Perks in the top menu.
- Click Claim on an offer; the redemption details arrive by email.
- Finish the redemption on the partner's own website.

BarkBox promo codes
Codes and offers kept by David Jones, who lists only codes the store makes public.
BARK builds its main subscription offer into the BarkBox plan page rather than a code, and its checkout takes codes in a coupon box. We list only codes BARK publishes itself, with their end dates.
No public code we could confirm right now
We would rather show nothing than a code that fails at checkout. The ways to save above work without one.
6 rules · bark.co, United States
The rules that decide what you pay
What BarkBox says about shipping, delivery times, missing or damaged deliveries, returns, cancellation and billing and refunds — the details that turn a good deal into a bad one, or the other way round.
Shipping
Free on boxes, within the 48 contiguous states.
BARK delivers only to the 48 contiguous states, through Amazon Shipping, and not yet to Alaska, Hawaii or Canada; PO boxes are handled by UPS Mail Innovations. Shipping is included with subscription plans, while one-time cart orders ship free from $35.[1, 3]
Delivery times
5–10 business days once billed, according to BARK.
BARK's shipping policy says recurring BarkBox, Super Chewer and Combo Box orders mostly arrive by the 20th of the month, and to expect them by the end of the month. An order with several product types can come in separate parcels, each with its own tracking number.[4]
Missing or damaged deliveries
Tell BARK within 30 days of the purchase date.
BARK's terms set a 30-day limit, counted from the date of purchase, for reporting an order that is missing or damaged in whole or in part. Replacements or account credits follow BARK's own investigation and are at its discretion, and repeated non-delivery claims can lead to a cancelled membership.[6]
Returns
Box items can't be returned.
BARK's refund policy rules out returns of items from monthly BarkBox and Super Chewer boxes; under its Scout's Honor Guarantee the Happy Team works with you instead if something doesn't suit your dog. For BarkShop purchases, that policy says to email the Happy Team to start a return and send products back unused in their original packaging, while BARK's FAQ page says it doesn't process returns or exchanges and asks you to pass unwanted items on to another dog or a shelter.[3, 5]
Cancellation
Monthly plans can be cancelled any time; longer plans run their full term.
BARK's terms say a 6- or 12-month plan is charged every month for its whole length even if you cancel early, and renews for the same length unless cancelled before the first day of the month after it ends. You can switch off auto-renewal from your account dashboard at any time; ending a commitment early goes through the Happy Team, and still takes effect at the end of the term.[3, 6]
Billing and refunds
Charged on the 1st; no refunds when prices drop later.
Your first box is billed at sign-up and later boxes on the 1st of the month; sign up on or after the 21st and BARK's FAQ says the next box is billed on the 10th before returning to the 1st. Payment details need updating the day before your billing date to apply. BARK's terms rule out price protection and refunds when a price falls or a promotion appears after you've paid.[3, 6]
5 catches in the fine print
Watch out for
Where shoppers lose the saving they thought they had.
Cancelling a 6- or 12-month plan doesn't stop the charges
BARK's terms say you're charged every month until the plan's term ends, even if you cancel partway through. Pick the 12-month price only if you're happy to pay for all twelve boxes.[6]
Plans renew for the same length
A 6- or 12-month plan rolls into another term of the same length unless you cancel before the first day of the month after it ends; later requests only apply to the following term. Turning off auto-renewal in your account dashboard avoids the surprise.[3, 6]
Checkout upsells raise the monthly price
The plan picker offers the Extra Toy Club for $9 more a month and Double Your Plan for $15 more a month. Both are optional, and a Skip for now button sits under them.[2]
Referral credit is one-shot
The $50 referral credit is for Ship Now products only and has to be used in one transaction; whatever is left over doesn't carry to a later order and can't be cashed out.[7]
Shredded toys aren't replaced
BARK says it doesn't replace toys a dog destroys. If toys don't last, ask the Happy Team to adjust future boxes, or look at Super Chewer, which BARK designs for heavy chewers.[3]
