Temu Coupon Codes & Ways to Save in the US

Coupons and credits come and go on Temu. What decides your real price is the fine print — who ships the item, what a second return costs, how credit refunds work and the 30-day price adjustment.

Does Temu have coupon codes?

Temu gives discounts as coupons, credits and other rewards on your account, and each comes with its own rules — eligible items, minimum spend, end date. Rewards generally can't be exchanged for cash. We only list codes Temu itself makes public.[2]

Our verdict

At Temu the fine print decides what you pay: send everything you're returning from an order in one go (the first return is free, later ones cost $7.99), claim the 30-day price adjustment when a price drops, and judge a deal by the checkout total — Temu itself says not to rely on the strike-through price.

Ways to save at Temu

Ordered by what each is typically worth to a regular shopper — the biggest saving first.

  1. Claim the price adjustment when a price drops

The difference backLow effortAnyone who rechecks prices

Temu lists price adjustment within 30 days among its US service promises. So if something you bought gets cheaper a week later, ask for the difference instead of returning it and buying it again — a second return from the same order would cost you $7.99.[1, 3]

    1. Note what you paid for each item when the order confirmation arrives.
    2. Look at the listing again during the following 30 days.
    3. If the price has dropped, open Temu's 24/7 chat support and ask for a price adjustment on that order.
  2. Return everything from an order in one go

Avoid a $7.99 fee per extra returnLow effortAnyone sending back more than one item

Return shipping is free on the first return from every order within the return window, however many items it includes. Each later return from that same order costs $7.99 plus tax, taken out of your refund. Decide everything that's going back before you start the first return.[1]

    1. Try everything from the order first, then list what's going back.
    2. Start one return for all of those items from Your Orders.
    3. Use a Happy Returns drop-off if it's offered — you don't need to pack the items.
  3. Fill your cart with items shipped by Temu

Free shippingLow effortAnyone building a mixed cart

Temu's free shipping excludes items shipped from sellers, which can carry their own shipping cost. Listed prices also leave out duties, taxes and shipping, which are added at checkout. Compare the order total — not the item prices — before you pay.[2, 3]

  4. Read the rules on every coupon and credit before you shop

Coupons that actually applyLow effortAnyone holding a Temu coupon or credit

Temu's terms say its coupons, credits and other rewards each come with their own rules, which override the general terms; not every product is eligible, and rewards generally can't be swapped for cash. Open a coupon's rules before you build a basket around it, and check its minimum spend, eligible items and end date.[2]

4 rules · temu.com, United States

The rules that decide what you pay

What Temu says about shipping, returns, refunds and price adjustment — the details that turn a good deal into a bad one, or the other way round.

Shipping

Free on items shipped by Temu; seller-shipped items can cost extra.

Temu's US help pages limit free shipping to items it ships, excluding those shipped from sellers. Listed prices don't include fees, customs duties, sales tax or shipping — those are charged separately — and for certain products you may be the importer of record.[2, 3]

Returns

90 days for most items, and the first return from each order is free.

Later returns from the same order cost $7.99 plus tax. Electronics can have a 45-, 60- or 90-day window depending on the seller. Once you submit a return, the package must be postmarked within 14 days or the return is closed. Worn or washed clothing, food, some health and personal care items, some free gifts and customized products can't be returned.[1]

Refunds

Card refunds take 5–14 business days; Temu credit is faster but final.

Refunds to your original payment method can take up to 30 days depending on your bank. Choosing Temu credit is quicker and the credit never expires, but it usually can't be reversed or cashed out. If you return something for a reason that isn't Temu's or the seller's fault, the original shipping fee and import tax aren't refunded, and items returned used or damaged get a reduced refund.[1]

Price adjustment

Within 30 days, according to Temu's US service promises.

The promise itself doesn't spell out the conditions — which items qualify, or whether the difference comes back as credit or to your card — so ask support to confirm how it applies to your order before counting on it.[3]

4 catches in the fine print

Watch out for

Where shoppers lose the saving they thought they had.

  1. The strike-through price isn't a benchmark

Temu's own terms tell shoppers not to rely on the strike-through price when deciding to buy, and to compare prices themselves if that matters. Treat the crossed-out number as decoration, not as proof of a discount.[2]

  2. Credit refunds are one-way

A refund taken as Temu credit is faster and never expires, but it typically can't be switched back to your card or withdrawn as cash. Only choose it if you're sure you'll shop at Temu again.[1]

  3. One account per person

Temu's terms forbid creating multiple accounts and list abusing promotions as grounds for cancelling rewards. Opening a second account to reuse a new-customer offer can cost you more than it saves.[2]

  4. Change-of-mind returns keep the duties

When you return something simply because you changed your mind, Temu doesn't refund the original shipping fee or import tax. On items carrying import charges, that can make a return barely worth it.[1]
