Sephora Promo Codes, Savings Event & Points
Sephora's savings sit inside its free Beauty Insider program: free shipping with no minimum, points worth $10 per 500, a yearly birthday gift and the holiday Savings Event at 10–20% off by tier.
Does Sephora have promo codes?
Yes — Sephora posts its own codes on sephora.com, in the banner at the top of the site and on event pages; in mid-October 2026, for example, the banner offered a free sample set with a $55+ online order. Members also see personal offers on the Beauty Offers page once signed in. Sephora's terms let it refuse codes obtained through third-party sites, so take them from sephora.com.[5, 9, 10]
Our verdict
Sign in as a Beauty Insider before you pay — it's free, and members get free standard shipping with no minimum (guests need $50) and 1 point per $1, cashable at 500 points for $10 off. For a bigger haul, wait for the Savings Event: 20% off for Rouge from October 30, and 15% for VIB or 10% for Insiders from November 3 to 9, 2026.

Ways to save at Sephora
Ordered by what each is typically worth to a regular shopper — the biggest saving first.
Sign in as a Beauty Insider before you check out
Beauty Insider is Sephora's free loyalty program, and no purchase is needed to join. Members get free standard 1–3 day shipping on every order, with no minimum — guest checkout only ships free from $50, and below that it costs $6.95. Every dollar spent on merchandise earns 1 point, online and in Sephora stores.[1, 2, 3]
- Create a free Beauty Insider account on sephora.com (18 or older in Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland and New Jersey).
- Sign in before you check out, so free shipping and points apply.
- In a store, give your registered email, phone number or digital card at the till to collect points.
Save the big haul for the Savings Event
In 2026 the holiday Savings Event gives Rouge 20% off from October 30, and VIB 15% and Insiders 10% off from November 3; it ends for everyone on November 9 at 11:59 pm PT. Every member also gets 30% off Sephora Collection from October 30, which replaces the tier discount on those items. One code works for all tiers, as many times as you like, online and in stores — but your tier has to be reached before you use it, and the discount can't be combined with Beauty Insider Cash or a Rouge Reward.[5, 6]
- Check your tier in your Beauty Insider account before the event starts.
- Online, enter the code shown on Sephora's Savings Event page at checkout; in store, present the event coupon.
- Add Sephora Collection items to the same basket — they get 30% off while the rest gets your tier discount.
Cash in points: $10 off for every 500
Any member with 500 points can take $10 off a purchase of $10 or more, in store or online — once per transaction, applied after other discounts. At 1 point per dollar, that's $10 back for every $500 you spend. Rouge members can instead swap 1,000 points for $20 off, or 2,500 points for a $100 Rouge Reward. Points also buy deluxe samples in the Rewards Bazaar, where three 100-point rewards cost 250 points online in the US.[1, 2]
Claim your birthday gift
Every member can redeem one Birthday Gift a year: in a Sephora store with no purchase needed, or online with a merchandise order of $25 or more after discounts. You can claim it any time in your birthday month, or from two weeks before to two weeks after your birthday. VIB and Rouge members get extra online-only choices. Birthday sets can't be returned or exchanged.[2, 7]
Subscribe to the products you always rebuy
Auto-Replenish ships the products you pick on a schedule you set, with a subscription discount — 5% as standard, more for some brands that have partnered with Sephora — and free shipping. You'll get an email 3 days before each shipment with a deadline to change or cancel it. Promo codes can't be applied to these orders and they come without samples.[12]

Codes and offers kept by David Jones, who keeps this guide's deals current.
Sephora publishes its own codes on sephora.com — in the site banner and on event pages — and many need a Beauty Insider account. Its terms let it refuse codes obtained through third-party sites, so we don't repeat them here; we point you to Sephora's own pages instead.
Starts Oct 30: Savings Event, up to 20% off for Beauty Insiders
Sephora's 2026 holiday event: Rouge 20% off from Oct 30; VIB 15% and Insider 10% off Nov 3–9; 30% off Sephora Collection for every member from Oct 30.

6 rules · sephora.com, United States
The rules that decide what you pay
What Sephora says about shipping, returns, refunds, final sale, promo codes and order changes — the details that turn a good deal into a bad one, or the other way round.
Shipping
Free standard shipping for Beauty Insiders, with no minimum.
Standard delivery takes 1–3 business days. Guest checkout orders ship free from $50 before tax and cost $6.95 below that; guaranteed 2-day delivery is $12.95 and 1-day $16.95. Aerosols and other restricted items go by ground only, and orders ship Monday to Friday.[3]
Returns
30 days from the purchase date, free by mail or in store.
New or gently used products with proof of purchase can be returned for a full refund — by mail with the prepaid label, or in any Sephora store, but not at Sephora at Kohl's. Original shipping charges aren't refunded unless Sephora made a mistake, and mail returns can take up to 30 days to process.[4]
Refunds
Back to your original payment, with a few exceptions.
Orders paid with a gift card come back as credit: online credit for mail returns, store credit for in-store returns. A sephora.com order paid with PayPal and returned in a store is refunded as store credit that only works in stores. If you used Beauty Insider Cash, you get back what you actually paid, not the $10, and the points the purchase earned are removed.[2, 4]
Final sale
Some items can't be returned at all.
Gift cards, certain Sephora Favorites kits and some intimate care items are final sale. Birthday gift sets and Rewards Bazaar rewards can't be returned or exchanged either, and items bought with a Rouge Reward can't be returned to a store.[2, 4, 7]
Promo codes
One offer per order unless it says otherwise, with exclusions.
Sephora may also limit an offer to one per client. Gift cards, taxes and shipping don't count towards minimum spends, codes can't be used on Auto-Replenish orders, and Sephora can refuse codes obtained through third-party sites.[8, 9, 10, 12]
Order changes
No edits after ordering; cancel quickly.
An order can't be modified once it's placed, but most can be cancelled up to an hour afterwards from the Order Details page. Your card is pre-authorized at checkout and charged only when the order ships. If Sephora cancels an out-of-stock item, the rest of the order still ships, and keeps its free shipping if it qualified.[13]

5 catches in the fine print
Watch out for
Where shoppers lose the saving they thought they had.
The 30 days count from the order date
Sephora's return window starts on the day you buy, not the day the parcel arrives, and once 30 days have passed online purchases can't be returned by mail or in a store.[4]
PayPal orders returned in store become store-only credit
Take a sephora.com order paid with PayPal back to a Sephora store and you get credit you can't spend on sephora.com. Mail it back with the prepaid label instead and the money goes back to your PayPal account.[4]
The event discount doesn't stack with points
The Savings Event discount can't be combined with Beauty Insider Cash, Rouge Cash or a Rouge Reward — Sephora Credit Card Rewards are the exception — so use your points on a different order.[5, 6]
Points expire after a quiet year
Unredeemed points expire if your account has no point activity — a purchase or a redemption — for 12 months. Returning an item also takes back the points it earned, including bonus points, which can leave your balance negative.[1, 2]
Codes from other sites may be refused
Sephora's offer terms let it invalidate codes that come from anyone other than Sephora, including third-party sites. Take codes from sephora.com itself.[9, 10]
