Walgreens Promo Codes & Coupons

Walgreens savings stack in layers: the free myWalgreens membership unlocks sale prices and pays 1% in Walgreens Cash (5% on Walgreens brand), a site-wide code cuts online orders, and a clipped manufacturer coupon can apply on top of that code.

Does Walgreens have promo codes?

Yes. Walgreens shows its current codes in the walgreens.com banner and on its Deals & Rewards page — in October 2026, OCT15 (15% off $35+) and OCT20 (20% off $50+) through October 31, plus WAG10 for an extra 10% off. They work on online orders only, one per product, with exclusions listed on the Offer Details page.[3, 4, 5, 6]

Our verdict

Join myWalgreens — it's free — so sale prices unlock and eligible purchases earn 1% back, or 5% on Walgreens-brand products. Online, clip paperless coupons first, then enter the code from the walgreens.com banner: a manufacturer coupon and a promo code can both apply to one item. Spend your Walgreens Cash regularly, because six calendar months without redeeming forfeits the whole balance.

Ways to save at Walgreens

Ordered by what each is typically worth to a regular shopper — the biggest saving first.

  1. Join myWalgreens and give your number at every checkout

Sale prices, 1% back, 5% on Walgreens brandLow effortU.S. residents 16 or older

myWalgreens is free and needs only your name, ZIP code and phone number. Members unlock sale prices and earn 1% in Walgreens Cash rewards storewide — out-of-pocket pharmacy purchases included, except at pharmacies in Arkansas, New Jersey and New York — and 5% on Walgreens-brand products. Rewards and sale prices only apply when you give the phone number on your account at the register, or are signed in when you order online.[1, 2]

    1. Join free on walgreens.com, in the Walgreens app or at a store register.
    2. Add your email or home address to your profile — you need one of them to redeem rewards.
    3. Give your phone number at checkout in store, or sign in before you order online.
  2. Enter the current walgreens.com code at checkout

    15% off $35 or 20% off $50 in OctoberLow effortWalgreens.com orders

Walgreens shows its promo codes in the banner on walgreens.com and on its Deals & Rewards page, with the full terms on its Offer Details page. In October 2026 they were OCT15 (15% off $35+) and OCT20 (20% off $50+), both through October 31, plus WAG10 for an extra 10% off, advertised alongside the Walgreens app. Codes work online only, one per product and up to three times per account, and leave out a long list of items — clearance, contact lenses, pharmacy, baby formula, pet supplies and brands such as NYX and No7 among them.[3, 4, 5, 6]

    1. Look at the banner at the top of any walgreens.com page.
    2. Check the exclusions on the Offer Details page before you fill your cart.
    3. Enter the code in the Promo Codes & Coupons field in your cart and click Apply.
  3. Clip paperless coupons, then add a code on top

Manufacturer savings plus the code discountSome effortAnyone with a myWalgreens account

Paperless coupons clip to your myWalgreens account at walgreens.com/coupons, in the app or straight from the Weekly Ad, and come off automatically when you check out with your account or phone number. Walgreens lets a promo code and a manufacturer coupon apply to the same item, but it won't accept two codes on one product. New weekly promotions start each Sunday, and a Sneak Peek of the next ad opens at noon the Thursday before.[6, 7]

    1. Sign in and clip coupons at walgreens.com/coupons or in the app.
    2. Clip any coupons shown in the Weekly Ad as well.
    3. Check out with your account — online, add the promo code in your cart.
  4. Check the Walgreens Photo Deals page before any photo order

Separate photo codes, each with an end dateLow effortPrints, photo cards, books and gifts

Photo orders are excluded from the walgreens.com site-wide codes, but Walgreens Photo posts its own codes on its Deals page, each with the products it covers and an end date. On October 16, 2026 they ran from 50% off prints, photo books and gifts to 60% off photo cards, plus $2 off passport photos in store. An online cart takes up to three codes, one per item, and any product credit on your account is applied first and can't be combined with a code.[3, 9]

  5. Paying for a prescription without insurance? Search Rx Savings Finder

Free third-party discount card pricesSome effortPrescriptions paid out of pocket

Walgreens' pharmacy help names Rx Savings Finder as its prescription discount program: you search for a medication, pick a discount card and show it at the pharmacy, and the tool and cards are free. A discount card isn't insurance — your plan isn't billed and the amount doesn't count toward your deductible — and it can't be combined with insurance, a manufacturer copay card or another discount card. Walgreens suggests searching again before each refill, since card prices change.[10]

6 rules · walgreens.com, United States

The rules that decide what you pay

What Walgreens says about shipping, pickup and delivery, returns, items you can't return, price match and Walgreens Cash — the details that turn a good deal into a bad one, or the other way round.

Shipping

Free standard shipping from $35; $5.99 below that.

The $35 is counted after promo codes and paperless coupons and before tax. Ship to Store is free with no minimum, and prescriptions and contact lenses ship free by standard shipping. Orders over 20 lb add $0.049 for each tenth of a pound, photo orders don't qualify, and Walgreens doesn't ship to PO boxes, APO/FPO/DPO addresses or outside the US.[11]

Pickup and delivery

Pickup has no fee; same-day delivery is free from $35.

Pickup needs a $10 minimum subtotal, counted after codes and paperless coupons and before tax. Under $35, same-day delivery carries a fee that varies by store and shows in your cart. Only digital coupons clipped when you place the order count — paper coupons aren't accepted at pickup or on delivery.[4, 12, 13]

Returns

30 days, in any Walgreens store, with the receipt or order number.

Online orders go back to a store too, and refunds return to the original payment method. Walgreens-brand products carry a satisfaction guarantee: bring back the unused portion for the full price, shipping included. Without a receipt the store manager decides, and the refund may come as a Walgreens gift card; hearing aids have 45 days.[14]

Items you can't return

Several categories are final once bought.

Gift, prepaid and phone cards, mobile phones, swimsuits, underwear, earrings, sexual wellness items, seasonal products, hazmat items and COVID-19 test kits can't be returned, and prescriptions can't be taken back by law. Contact lenses go back by mail only, unopened and unexpired, and made-to-order lenses not at all; cosmetics and electronics are left to the store manager.[14]

Price match

Stores match the Walgreens.com regular price.

Ask in store: the item must be identical, screenshots aren't accepted, and it's limited to one transaction per customer per day. Online sale and promo prices, contact lenses, photo, pharmacy and health services are excluded. For in-store purchases Walgreens also honors the lowest price posted on the sales floor.[3, 6]

Walgreens Cash

Redeemed in set amounts, up to $50 per transaction.

Rewards come off in steps of $1 to $5, $10, $20 or $50, with at most $50 per transaction and $100 per day, after all discounts and coupons. They can't pay for prescriptions or other pharmacy items and services. Rewards on an online order are added once the whole order has shipped.[1, 2]

5 catches in the fine print

Watch out for

Where shoppers lose the saving they thought they had.

  1. Six months without redeeming wipes your balance

Walgreens Cash expires 12 months after it's earned. On top of that, if six consecutive calendar months pass without you using rewards in a transaction, the membership counts as inactive and every reward on it is forfeited.[1, 2]

  2. A cancelled order doesn't hand back the promo code

When an order is cancelled, Walgreens returns paperless coupons to your clipped list but says it can't return promo codes — and the site-wide codes allow only three uses per account.[3, 7]

  3. Rewards spent in store come back as store credit

Walgreens Cash redeemed in a store can't be put back on your account; if you return those items, that part of the refund is store credit. Rewards you earned on a returned item are deducted from your account.[2]

  4. Pharmacy rewards have their own limits

Rewards promotions tied to prescriptions or other pharmacy purchases are capped at $65 per calendar year, prescriptions earn only when picked up in store, and pharmacies in Arkansas, New Jersey and New York don't pay rewards on them at all.[1]

  5. Site-wide codes skip whole brands

The October codes exclude clearance, contact lenses, pharmacy, baby formula, pet supplies, alcohol, dairy and gift cards, as well as brands including NYX, e.l.f., Wet n Wild, No7 and Soap & Glory. Check the list on the Offer Details page before counting on the discount.[3]

Walgreens savings FAQ

Partly. A promo code and a manufacturer coupon can both apply to the same item, and Walgreens Cash rewards come off after all discounts and coupons. Two promo codes on one product won't be accepted, and in store a single item takes one manufacturer coupon plus any applicable Walgreens coupons.[2, 7, 8]

Clip them to your myWalgreens account at walgreens.com/coupons, in the app or from the Weekly Ad, and they apply automatically when you check out with your account or phone number. Each one can be redeemed once, and it must be clipped before the purchase — Walgreens can't honor a coupon clipped afterwards.[7, 8]

Yes, 12 months after they're earned; rewards earned with the myWalgreens credit card on or after January 31, 2026 last 24 months. Separately, six consecutive calendar months without using rewards in a transaction make the membership inactive, and the whole balance is forfeited.[1, 2]

Product orders of $35 or more ship free by standard shipping, counted after promo codes and paperless coupons and before tax; below that, shipping is $5.99. Ship to Store is free with no minimum, and prescriptions and contact lenses ship free by standard shipping.[11]

Eligible items, online orders included, can be returned or exchanged at any Walgreens store within 30 days with the receipt or order number, and refunds go to the original payment method. Walgreens-brand products have a satisfaction guarantee, while gift cards, swimsuits, underwear, seasonal items and prescriptions are among the things that can't be returned.[14]

Walgreens' price match is with its own website: on request, stores match the Walgreens.com regular price for an identical item, once per customer per day. Online sale and promo prices, contact lenses, photo, pharmacy and health services are excluded, and screenshots aren't accepted as proof.[6]

New weekly promotions go live each Sunday, and a Sneak Peek of the next ad can be viewed from noon on the Thursday before; Walgreens also sends it by email to subscribers. Online prices are set separately and can differ from your local store's.[6]

Walgreens points to Rx Savings Finder, a free tool for finding third-party prescription discount cards that you show at the pharmacy. A card price isn't insurance: your plan isn't billed and the amount doesn't count toward your deductible.[10]
